Chapter twenty-eight

NIALL'S POV

I headed upstairs and changed into some dry clothes. I ran a hand through my messy hair to try an tame it. After having a quick check in the mirror, I went back downstairs.

"I'm back." I pronounced once in the living area.

"I'm here." Marisa replied. I plopped down onto the couch next to her, kissing her cheek.

"Watcha doing?" I asked looking at her phone.

"Twitter." She replied.

"C'mon, we had such a nice day. Let's not look at the stuff." I whined. She looked at me with a small smile, rolling her eyes.

"Fine." She sighed.

"Awesome. What would you like to do?" I asked wrapping an arm around her shoulder.

"I don't know." She said, her expression told she was in thought. "Considering the fact it is raining, I suggest we stay inside." She added.

"Well thank you for your input then, captain obvious." I replied sarcasticaly. She gave me big grin before kissing me lightly on the lips.

"No problem sargent sarcasm." She answered as she pulled away.

"Ok, how about you and I......" I trailed off thinking of something we could do.

"How about we surprise the guys with a cake?" I asked. Seeing as I was in the mood for cake.

"What for?" She asked confused.

"I don't know, for being awesome dudes, I guess. I just want some cake right now." I whined. She just laughed.

"Alright alright, calm down will ya?" She asked taming her laughter.

"Excellent." I said standing up, pulling her along with me.

MARISA'S POV

This kid was an idiot, but he was my idiot.

"Can you grab out a bowl, princess?" He asked once in the kitchen.

"Yeah, sure." I replied. I went over to a cabinet and pulled out a bowl. I walked over to him and handed it to him.

"What?" He asked, slightly amused.

"Nothing." I said smiling shaking my head.

"Tell me." He whined.

"You just look cute thats all." I replied in defeat. He blushed a bit, I had never seen him blush before. It made him look even more adorable.

"C'mon lets get crackin." He mumbled looking down at the ingrediants infront of us.

An hour and a half had passed. Infront of us we had a cooling, chocolate cake with reeses cups, waiting to be frosted. I looked around the kitchen and realized what a mess we had made.

"How about we start cleaning this place up." I suggested.

"I don't wanna." Niall pouted.

"Fine, either do it by yourself later, or I will help you now." I stated grabbing a dishrag to wipe off the counters.

"Fine, your doing the dishes then." He sighed in defeat.

"Deal." I responded. I stuck the cake in the fridge to speed up the cooling process.

After a half an hour of cleaning, the kitchen was sparkling.

"See, that wasn't so bad." I said nudging him in the ribs.

"Yeah, I think the cake is cooled lets frost it now." Niall said, eagerly taking the cake out of the fridge. I grabbed us both a knife and the jar of frosting.

"Hey Riss, am I doing this right?" Niall asked a minute after we had started.

"Niall, I'm pretty sure-." I said looking up, getting cut off by him wiping frosting on my face.

"You look cute in chocolate." He said cheekily. I wiped the frosting from my eyes, slowly opening them. I glared at him before wiping my hands on his cheeks.

"I think it looks better on you." I said back. I gave him the same cheeky smile before returning to the frosting. Soon after I was done, Niall scooped up some of the remaining frosting, wiping it all over my face.

"Niall! Your such a two year old!" I shrieked laughing. He just burst out into a fit of laughter.

"Oh you think your so funny?" I said before jumping on him, tackling him to the ground. I pinned his arms over his head. His laughing died down.

"Damn, I didn't know you were that strong." He said. I just winked at him before crashing my lips to his, getting frosting all over his face as well. I pulled back to see a now chocolate faced leprachaun.

"Like I said, you look better in chocolate." I stated standing up. I held out a hand to pull him up.

"Your right, I make anything look good." He said flexing his arms. I rolled my eyes and hit his chest.

"Shut-up and clean up." I said, throwing a rag at him.

NIALL'S POV

We both cleaned up and went back to the living area to sit. I picked my phone up from where I had left it to see that I had a missed message.

"Hey, you guys still at the zoo?" Liam had texted.

"No, we are back at my flatt. Weather was bad." I replied.

"Oh, you mind if dani and I come hang out with you?"

"Yeah sure come on over" I replied.

I sat down on the couch next to Marisa. I leaned over and kissed her.

"So, did you enjoy the zoo?" I asked. She smiled, nodding her head.

"Loved it." She replied.

We both sat on the couch, goofing around when Liam and Danielle came walking in.

"Hey guys!" Danielle said cheerfully.

We both greeted the two as they took a seat across from us.

"So where were you two?" I asked leaning into Marisa.

"Nothing, Liam just picked me up from rehersal." Danielle informed us.

"Where's the others?" Liam asked.

"I think at Zayn's playing Fifa or something." Niall answered.

"Is Harry and Lou over there?" Danielle quetioned.

"Yeah, I think so." I replied.

"Lets go over and hang out with them." Liam suggested. We all agreed. We all jumped into Liam's car and headed over.

MARISA'S POV

"Hey look who's here!!" Louis shouted from the couch in the living area. They all turned around and smiled at us.

"Hey guys come join us, I'm kicking Zayn's butt in fifa." Harry cheered.

"Are not!" Zayn argued, both of them turning their attention back to the television. Louis just rolled his eyes as the two boys bickered back and forth.

"So Marisa, Niall, how was the zoo? Looks like you guys had fun." Louis said holding his phone up, showing one of the pictures I had posted of us two.

"Where did you find that?" Niall asked taking Louis' phone from him.

"Marisa posted it on twitter." Louis stated.

"I'm sorry, do you want me to take it off?" I said to Niall.

"Oh no, I like it. Just didn't know where he got it, thats all." Niall replied. All of us took our seats as we watched the two boys play their game. Something kept nagging at me though. Was Niall upset that I had posted those photos?

AUTHORS NOTE- I'm sorry it took me so long to update:( i got major writers block after taking hime that stupid baby, which cried all night long.
