"I like girls on fire."

I turned beet red. I ignored what he said and wiped my hands on my pants. "Sure." I drawled sarcastically, using sarcasm as my defense. He shrugged and smiled. "Well girl on fire, I happen to know a good place where we can see a view."

"And why would I go with you?" I said as I placed my hands on my hips and blew a stray strand of hair away from my face. "Because our last day on earth could be today, an hour later, tomorrow, 3 years later you never know. And maybe that should push us to live our life. Because you never know when you get eaten by ravenous freaks of nature." He said while smirking.

"Fine Grimes. I'll go." I said annoyed that he made such a good point. "Then let's go." He said as he grabbed my hand and pulled me softly to a unknown direction. I ignored the butterflies in my stomach when he grabbed me and followed his lead.

"You better not be leading me to my death Carl Grimes. Or I'll knee you in the balls." I said 100% serious.

"Wouldn't dream of it Florence." He said while smiling.

I grinned and tried to squash the butterflies in my stomach but the butterflies grew stronger.

He quickly stopped and went behind me. I watched him with curios eyes. He raised his hands and placed them get lay in front of my eyes sending shivers down my spine. "Just follow my lead." He murmured sending chills down my neck.

I followed as he led me down a pathway. We walked for 5 minutes before we came to a rest. He slowly let go and I let my eyes open slowly while his hands grazed my arms and stayed there.

I was greeted by a beautiful view of the meadow. The trees swayed with the wind as a flock of birds flies past. The sky was clear and blue showing no signs that this catastrophe even ever happened. I sighed as the fresh smell of the country greeted my nose.

"Perfect isn't it?" He said softly while keeping his hands on my shoulders. "Yeah..." I murmured as I enjoyed every single moment of this piece of Heaven.

This is cliché.

But I guess, we need a little cliché in our lives to make it better.

I sighed in content. But then my eyes caught the barn. The barn infested with walkers. I felt my worries grow as I remembered it.

There is always something that ruins a moment. "Hey...Carl...do you happen to know what's in that barn?" I said casually masking my worry. "Probably tools and stuff. Why?" He asked while keeping his hands on my shoulders.

"It's just that I saw something in there that you may not believe."

"What? Horses? Cute horses?" He said sarcastically.

"No. Actually I saw blood thirsty walkers Carl." I said bluntly. "Haha. Very funny." He said while smirking. I frowned. "I'm not jo-"

"What the hell is this shit?! This is crazy! We have to protect ourselves and we have the right too kill those-!"

"Stop Shane! It's Hershel's property not ours! We can't just go running around with guns in our hands! Why don't we just ask him?!"

"Ask him?! Rick! Are you crazy?! How can you sleep peacefully at night knowing that your wife and son could be in danger!"
