Calum always taught me that no matter what had happened, to not give up. To not let small obstacles get in the way of the large victory to come. He said to take him as an example. His hard work and dedication got him to where he was. He never gave up on what he wanted, and he eventually got it.

Going into an interview was nerve racking, but going to an interview to work for manager of my dead boyfriends band, was extra nerve racking. It was hard to come to terms that there was only 3 of them, but they needed a lot of help.

After Calum's death, the tour completely stopped. It had only just begun a few weeks prior, but everything just came to a halt.

A year later, with the tour only half over and the shows becoming less organised by lack of intelligent staff, I was asked if I would be the boys new manager.

Many others had tried for the job and never made it, so, Luke came up to me one day and asked if I would like to be interviewed for becoming their manager. They thought that it would be better having someone that they knew as their manager so their needs/ wants was understood.

I smoothed out the fabric of my shirt as a security guard gestured for me to enter, his palm slightly touching the skin of my back as he led me to the room I would be interviewed in.

I pulled the chair from under the table and took a seat, absentmindedly biting the skin around my fingernails as I awaited the arrival of my three best friends. I didn't have anything to worry about, as Michael said, I was already close to them, they knew they could trust me and that I only needed to come for the "interview" because it was the rules.

They came in soon after, smiling at me as I picked at my nail polish.

"Okay, so, here's the deal," Ashton looked at me as Luke spoke, making me smile slightly.

Michael sat on the table and put his large hands on my shoulders, smiling at me.

"You've got the job, and you start tomorrow,"

I smiled as he said that, happy that I would be spending the next year with my best friends. Spending time with them definitely didn't help me try and get my mind off of Calum, but it helped to have them there, as they were a part of him.

Now all I had to do was go home and pack for the longest year of my life.

A/N, I know this is super short but I had to update. I'll make the next chapter longer.
