I led Hercules to Philoctetes's island, my stomach in knots. If had a date with Phil, fifteen years ago. And I had missed it. I was worried on how he would react to see me. He didn't even know that I was a goddess. When we landed, the island had clearly gone downhill. The grass was overgrown, the training equipment was put away, I didn't even see Phil. The island seemed to be completely empty.
"Are you guys sure this is the right place?" Hercules asked. Both I and I Pegasus nodded. Then we heard laughter. We peered through the bushes and saw some nymphs. Then we heard a goat noise and saw a furry little behind sticking out from the bushes. I giggled. I'd reconise that furry little behind any where!
"What's the matter little guy? You stuck?" Hercules reached down and pulle the satyr out of the bush. It was Phil! But he definantlu let himself go. He had gained weight and grew a five oh clock shadow with a goatee. He swatted at Hercules.
"Hey! Buzz off buddy!" He shouted. The nymps screamed and ran away. Phil was clearly upset. "What's the matter? You ain't seen a satyr before?" He asked Hercules.
"Uh, no." Hercules mumbled. "Maybe you can help us? Were looking for someone namedPhiloctetes?"
"Call me-" he started, but I interrupted him, exasperated.
"Phil! Hello! Did you even notice me?" I asked. He looked over and smiled.
"Hey! Milly! Where you been?" He asked. I ran over and gave him a hug.
"I've been away my Philly Goat!" I said, giving him a kiss on the cheek. "And I noticed that you've been taking advantage of my absence." Hercules was confused.
"Do you guys, know each other or something?" He asked us.
"Oh yeah! Hercules, Phil is my boyfriend! We'd had a scheduled date, but then you fell off Olympus!" I explained. Hercules turned red.
"Now, was there a reason you brought this shmooze to my island? " Phil asked me.
"I need you to to train Hercules to be a true hero! So that we can rejoin our father Zeus on Olympus!" I told him. Phil laughed.
"Okay Milly, you've told me some whoppers, but this?! This is crazy!" He shouted."you two, are the big guy's kids?! Ha ha! That's hilarious!" Then a lightning bolt hit him. "Okay."
