I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. Ryder Phillips came on the screen. Great. What could he want this early on a Saturday.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Hayley. I have a question."
"What could possibly be so important to ask at 7 o'clock in the morning Ryder?"
"Well, I was going to ask you if you wanted to go mud riding with me and Micah. But since your acting like that--"
"Oh, yeah i do wanna go! What time do I need to be ready?"
"Well, he's not here yet, but i guess you have an hour or so. I called early because i know you would've freaked if i asked last minute.. Considering you like him and all."
"Ryder! Be quiet! You better not tell him! I swear I will tell Natalie every little secret you have ever told me, and you know i will!"
"Now come on Hayley. You know i wouldn't tell Micah you like him.. I wouldn't do that to my favorite little cousin."
I smiled at that and said, "Okay, thank you. I'll be over in a hour or so."
"See ya later cuz" I hung up and fell back on my bed. I smiled at the thought of being with Micah all day. Ryder and Micah are bestfriends, and Ryder just so happens to be my favorite cousin. Coincidence? I think not. I got up and walked over to my closet. I picked out my favorite pair of cut-off jean shorts, a black tank top and my favorite pair of cowboy boots. I layed my clothes on my bed and got in the shower. I used my coconut body wash, which I only use for special occasions. Oh and believe me, this was special. I washed my long, brown hair and got out. I put my hair up in a towel, rapped a towel around my body and walked back into my bedroom. I slowly got dressed. I walked over to my vanity mirror and turned on my straightener. I took my hair down and ran a brush through my tangled locks. I sprayed some stay-in-conditioner to help keep it from tangling up again and straightened my hair. After about 20 minutes of making sure it was perfect, i ran my fingers my bangs to make them fall over my left eye. I put on my favorite camoflauge hat. Ryder always makes fun of me because i wear it backwards, but i love the way it looks. I walked over to my bed to put my socks and boots on, when i noticed i hadn't shaved my legs. I sighed and walked to my bathroom and then realized i was out of shaving cream. I threw my hands up in the air. I turned to my mirror and grabbed a pony tail holder, threw my hair up in a messy bun and took off down the hall. As I walked in the kitchen i saw my dad sitting at the bar reading his newspaper. "Hey daddy!" I said walking over to him. "Well, aren't you up at a early time. What are your plans for today?" He asked, sipping his coffee. "Well Ryder called this morning and asked me if i wanted to go mud ridin' with him and Micah. Of course, i said yes." I said smiling. I think everybody knew i liked Micah, except Micah. "Oh, well do you need some cash? I think i might have a couple of 20's you can have." He said, reaching for his wallet. "I think i have about 17 dollars. I have to buy some gas, food and some drinks for myself. I dont know if it'll be enough though." I said. "Well, here's a 20. Keep the change, baby." My dad said, smiling up at me. "Thank you, daddy! I love you." "I love you too, have fun." "I will, daddy." I bent over and gave him a kiss on the cheek. I continued to the bathroom and then i heard a knock on the door
