Chapter 7

Well this chapter we shall find out more about Alice's relationship with James. Also Daniel comes clean about what he is to Alice, now will she accept him or reject him? I apologize if I keep swithing POVs too often. I will have to limit that at some point.

Also this picture is long due, its how Daniel's and Nathan's house looks in the woods.

Chapter 7

 

--Daniel's POV--

I was tired and frustrated that with three strong wolves patrolling the town the vampire brothers were able to elude us each confrontation. The closer the 30th came the more concerned the three of us became. It meant we would have to be extra careful since people will not be in bed and will be up and around with the school. To make sure we were all available Nathan decided he would come to ‘help out’ at the school event so that when the vampires attacked we would be ready.

That day arrived and everyone was excited, by this time I was pretty worn out and just wished to hurry and catch those vampires. Though each time I looked at Alice I realized I have to be alert and ready for her sake.

That evening she was dressed as Alice from Alice in Wonderland, which had to be the cleverest thing I’ve ever heard of. She already had beautiful blonde hair and blue eyes so it even worked out with the character. Her dress was amazing and she looked great over all. Ironically I was the ‘Big bad wolf’ from Little Red riding hood. Since I am a werewolf the idea of being a wolf for a costume was just silly, of course Nathan and Flynn got a kick out of it. Unfortunately it was an idea that Sandra came up with to enter the contest and I was stuck with her all night, every time my eyes were wandering she’d direct my attention in addition to pressing herself against me, I figured any guy would be lucky but the more I came into contact with Alice the more revolted I’ve become, my wolf is so disgusted its long since stopped growling at me.

I guess even she realized what was up because we left the gym and ended up in a secluded hallway, all the lights were nearly off so it was dim and we weren’t easily spotted unless you counted Sandra’s red outfit that was nearly too short, I liked that Alice was able to look beautiful without having to wear something super short at all.

I was against the wall as the human female was trying to force me to make moves on her, even placed my hands on her hips which didn’t send any electric signals through my body like the few times I’ve touched Alice.

I could have easily overpowered her but I let her complain and whine for a bit and I remind her we can go back in the gym until the contest start. However I felt her nearby. How is it she always finds me when I’m stuck alone with Sandra? I was pleased when she suddenly appeared as if nothing was wrong, ignoring Sandra completely and wrote that Nate wanted to see me. I knew that if Nate needed me he’d communicate via mindshare but I figured this would be a good time to escape so I did.

When I called her out on her bluff she turned the cutest shade of red and came clean. I knew she had to feel a little jealous, I know I do every time she’s with James. I had to reward her, or myself, just one kiss wouldn’t hurt. She came just to get me out of that bind with Sandra.

‘Sandra is supposed to be your girlfriend. Kissing Alice will lose all my creditability.’

‘No we’ve earned this. Forget that blasted wretched human female and kiss OUR mate already.’

My wolf growled in my head instantly, coming back to life again as I expected. I had no control, well I did but I wanted it more than anything. I leaned in closer, I could hear her heart beat but it wasn’t in fear I moved slowly to give her time to step away or do something to stop me.
