'Trust Me'

The blood drops on the floor leading to the chamber where Louis finally opened the door to the sight of Clair sitting down on the edge of the bed.

She ran towards him and helped him lay down on his back.

Taking off his tops to reveal the cut he got on his waist. 

"This is worse than I expected, was it not just an act?"

She said in a worried tone while starting to clean the wound.

Louis tried to keep a straight face even though he was in pain.

"Well, I had to make it look real"

The second prince replied.

Clair managed to stop the bleeding and applied the medicine right away.

"Prince Elmer never seemed to be the type to do so"

She said while wrapping the bandages around his wound.

"You think Elmer would hurt me this badly? he was shaking the whole time, I could see it clearly" 

The second prince said while remembering the scene.

"So, what happened my prince?"

Clair asked, clearly anxious.

Louis's smirking face took her by surprise but his answer made her more concerned than shocked.

"I had to push myself forward or else the sword wouldn't cut as deep"

Her hands stopped the wrapping, Clair went speechless for a while until Louis tried to get up.

"Wait, stay still you are injured"

She said while asking him to lay back down but Louis did not want to.

Once Clair was done with the wound he immediately got up.

"Prince Louis, you can't just walk around"

Clair said.

"I need you to deliver the sleeping potion to Betty now"

Louis's serious look got to her, since he always looks kind and unbothered.

Clair replied saying,

"Aylin and Violet are doing this right now, what about the other thing you asked for?"

Louis was standing next to the open closet picking the ones he would change into since he was almost fed up with the blood's scent.

"Do you have it now?"

The second prince asked.

CLair nodded her head, got a small glass bottle off her pocket and handed it to him.

"Thanks Clair, I owe you a lot, once this war is over I will make sure you return home safely"

Louis smiled softly while taking the bottle off of her hands.

"Prince Louis, I might not have the right to say this but, try not to get yourself killed"

Clair said with a serious face.

"I will"

He smiled replying.

Watching her leave the room so he got to change while all he could think about is the crazy plan he came up with.

The first prince stood looking back at his hesitant people.

"You should go"

He then said.

"I will not build  a kingdom off of my people's blood"

Elmer added.

Even though about half of the people left already after Leo's threat, a lot of them were still standing and did not move even after Elmer asked them to.
