After the never ending running, seraph finally slowed down to catch some breath.
He was tired from all that running, seraph also realized that he was pretty far from where he was before, since all that he could see is that dark forest behind him.
It's a risky decision to go back since the news must have spend far and wide about what the hunter have witnessed, there's a chance that no one will believe him since he was in fact a man.
But his mother was left behind, he doesn't want to imagine what might have happened to her, he can't help but wish that his mother was somewhat safe. Though it must have been unlikely.
Seraph continued to walk with the golden egg shining brightly on his embrace.
Looking at the egg he thought 'was it worth it to run and leave his mother behind'.
He thought what the possibility is if he didn't, and he thought, he could have been dead by now.
Seraph continue to walk into the dark forest until the sun sets.
He found a large cave and stayed for the night, since staying outside is not the best idea since maybe wild animals is roaming around to find food.
Seraph found a comfortable spot to lay down and not even a minute have past he fell asleep.
Hour later, seraph didn't realize that something sneak inside the cave and watch him sleep.
After sometime the creature growl as one of their kind went in.
The creature bit him by the clothes to lift him up as the other grab the egg.
Seraph was too tired to wake up, and didn't realize that he was being carried somewhere.
