Seraph knew where to go, it's obvious by the signs they left for him to follow, the bait was poorly made as if a three years old made it.

Seraph, of course choose to follow the signs, by the constantly following the sighs as if they luring a mouse out of it's hide out, by the pathway the road was heading towards the colosseum where Hunter's fight every years competition.

By the time seraph arrived at the place the gate was already open as if it was waiting for him to come, by the time he went inside the gates was immediately shut close as the cheering roars, not to welcome but like a child that finds it's own entertainment.

Seraph doesn't have time to care about them because what he was looking was already in front on him.

The golden egg place in the center, like a prize to win for a competition.

Before he could even think what to do the host voice echod through the colosseum.

"Dear ladies and gentlemen! The participants on the other sides already entered! Let's the game begin!!" The host immediately said cheerfully as the cheering grew louder.

"W-what!?" He was confused on what's going on, before he could think about it, he was suddenly attack from behind but he quickly notice this and dodge.

After a round of dodging and avoiding, he finally get the gist of what this game is.

It's just a normal combat competition but a bit of an extra, usually it picks a random participants to fight each other and win untiy the finals, but it seems they changed it to them fighting him all at once with only him on the other side.

It's a assassination disguise as a friendly combat competition. They trying to get him killed 'by accident' when its not.

Each enemy even have at least one weapon and an armor on when he has nothing, he guess that him being a mother of those dragons already spread, and spreading more rumors that being a mother means you'll be immortal and blade won't Pierce your skin, when it's actually the opposite, nothing change, it's just your nature of being a mortal change a bit into being one of the nature.

If they already broken the rules, that means it'll be okay if he also break a rule right?

He doesn't have the time to play around with them more, and needed to leave immediately since he left the lair without an adult inside taking care of the hatchling.

With that he immediately change trajectory and immediately went for the egg.

The others quickly notice this but it was already too late, he already leap and grab the egg before landing, seraph immediately cover the egg with his body since they might start attacking it.

This enrage many people since that's against the rules, but he doesn't care, the egg was not an item, it was his child who he take care for years now.

Seraph was too busy dodging everything while protecting the egg, he was Soo distracted that he didn't realize an arrow was aiming at his back.

He realizes it too late, by the time he turn around, the arrow pierce his heart the impact made him stumble backwards.

Seraph was too shock to process what just happened, but he instinctively held the golden egg tightly in his arms soaking the bright golden egg with pure blood.

What happened made the audience silent but it didn't take long before they erupt into loud cheering, but there's an exception, the prisoner's.

No more likely the shaman who predict the future, and of course he also knows about the ancient times, and he knows that killing a mother of the dragon's means sooner or later they'll be in serious danger.

He didn't have the time to warn them, he needs to save himself.
He ran like his life depends on it,
well it really is.

Before they could even celebrate more, a loud horrifying roar echoed through the mountains even the nearby birds flew together startle by the noise, it's like.. they are crying, and in pain.

Hearing this, the hunter immediately realize that this is no good, this well be a catastrophe for them.

They immediately set a priority to evaluate the citizens, but they are too greedy thinking that the guards wanted the golden egg for them and doesn't want to share, the conflict grew more and more, as you could hear the arguments here and there.

With that, a big shadow loom over them as everyone stop with what they are doing, the white dragon land near seraph, who was holding the egg.

The white dragon took a couple nudge at him, it took a while before the dragon stop what she is doing and realized that seraph was dying.

The white dragon stood high and mighty looking at those lowly humans, with her boiling sadness and anger she let it all load with a roar.

Every dragon heard the cries of the dragon lord, as they all went to where she was, seeing the scene in front of them, they realize they could not ignore what these humans are doing anymore.

With that, a full war broke out with the dragon's, you can't call it a war, it's one sided, the human cannot bring themselves to fight the enrage dragon's.

With all the chaos around a new dragon was born to this world, he was golden from head to toe, an amazing and beautiful dragon.

The hatching look at seraph with two curious eyes, happy seeing his guardian, but something wrong with this guardian.

"Your.. so beautiful.." Seraph mumble softly. Seraph reminded himself that this is the dragon he protected with his life.

A beautiful and elegant dragon, a beautiful dragon should have a name.
A unique one, since names are important to every being.

"Eruhaben..." Seraph mumble..

"Eruhaben, that will be your name" seraph said as he held the golden dragon within his arms, with that seraph life ended with him protecting someone.

The baby dragon might have received the most beautiful name, but he will forever remember that the person who protected him, die at the same day of his birthday.
