Chapter 7

Dark, and cold.. the lair of the darkness.

The cave of darkness was pitch black. Ruled by the dark itself, the man with the black robe was there. He was walking to the throne.

"Allo, you're back already.. and alive."

"Why do you always include that last part whenever I return? Do you hate me that much?"

"You, the eldest. You should not think of that."

A young boy was staring at the two, hiding behind a large rock, hearing every word they speak.

"Father, I have accomplished my job."

"So the leader is dead after all.. Great job." The tall man grins, he was relieved.

"Heh, but.. He was hilarious from the moment when I was going to stab him. Hahaha!"

"Did he say something?!"

The atmosphere suddenly changes once his father heard what his son said.

"Well, yeah. He said that if he dies, there will be another leader that will destroy us and live an eternal life with her beloved. Isn't that just hilarious?! Seriously, a 'she' will destroy us!? Hahaha"

"If he said that.. and dies..!"

"What are you worried about? Nothing can stop us now!"

"Bastard.. That is the true power of the Lakiera clan! If they die after saying that kind of thing, what they said will come true!"

"Wh-!? What do you mean by that?!"

"Their true power is to wish something that will come true in exchange of their lives! I ordered you to bring the army because I know you wouldn't survive with or without the army! And with you alive here when the leader is killed by you is just not possible!"

"W-what?! So you want me dead?! Why is that?!"

"Because your younger brother is more suited to be on the throne than you!"

"You mean Darka !? B-but-!"

"Listen! I'll give you a chance to be on the throne, If you can get rid of the next leader."

"If that's what it takes, then I'll do it! I won't let Darka get on the throne!"

The man with the black robe leaves, leaving his furious father.

The young boy grins, "Foolish brother.."

"Are we going to train after school again?" Zara looks at Gray with her hateful eyes.

"Yes." Gray looks back at Zara.

It was breaktime at Easton. Zara and her friends are now sitting in the same table as the three guardians. Of course it was uneasy for Rosie and Lina to sit with them. Also, the other students were watching their table, shocked.

"Look at that, the booming school celebrities are sitting together!"

"Zara, the cold queen and Gray, the dry king look furious!"

"I can't believe this!"

"Ah, the other two look uneasy sitting next to them!"

Of course the students were gossiping about them. All of them heard what the students said, including Rosie and Lina which made them more uneasy.

"Uh, Zara? Are you sure it's okay to sit with them?" Lina whispers and asks Zara.

"Of course, why are you two so nervous about it?"

"Shh! We-we're not!" Rosie blushes.

"Haha, the food here is delicious!" Nathan plays with his food.

"..." Alex keeps quiet and enjoys his meal.

School ended, Zara says goodbye to her friends.

"Guys, I gotta go now. See you tommorow."

"Huh? Isn't you house that way?"

"Yeah. Where are you going?"

"Uh.. basketball?"

"You're still playing that?! Oh my God. You're a girl, Zara!"

"So what if I am?"

"I mean, a girl playing basketball?!"

Lina shuts Rosie's mouth from talking.
"Shut up.. Ah, it's absolutely normal. Don't worry about it, Zara. See you tommorow!" She waved at Zara and grabs Rosie away like she's walking a dog.

Gray was already behind Zara when her friends left.

"Let's go."

Zara nods. "Hey, how about using my dimension instead?"

"You're not that experienced to open a dimension."

"I'm experienced. Don't you mock me." Zara glares at Gray with her fierce eyes.

Both of them were back at the place when they first trained.

"So?" Gray asks Zara about opening her own dimesion

"Don't worry, I got this." She copied the signs to open a dimesion and then tries to open her own dimension.

"Dimension."

Light slowly appears in front of Zara and Gray.

"It worked.." Gray's mouth were opened wide. He couldn't believe what he saw.

"I told you to don't mock me." Zara walks into her first dimension with crossing her arms.

"..."

Both of them walk into Zara's dimension.

"It's just like any other dimesion. Everything's normal. Great job." Even with a face full of jelousy, Gray still tries to act like his normal self.

"Thanks, I couldn't believe myself either. So, when are we going to start?" Zara grins.

"About right now. You're going to fight me"

"Then let's do it!"
