9 - Test your might

WOW... This took a lot longer than i expected. I know it took a long time for this chapter but i had more important things on my agenda like exams and not failing my math class. But since now school is over and my summer break started i can actually write something... Dont expect too much from me tho.

Quick note: The final tournament matchups are slightly different from the manga and the anime (I removed some people and added easter egg characters). Why? Because i wanted to make it a tad bit more interesting instead of retelling mostly the same story. If you don't like it, just don't read this. Peace

"And that would be a wrap everyone!" Midnight finally announced after a long team battle. "The participants that move on to the next competition are... From Team 1 Dante Sparda and Anzu Hirano. From team 2 Izuku Midoriya, Ochako Uraraka, Mei Hatsume and Fumikage Tokoyami. From team 3 Katsuki Bakugo, Mina Ashido, Sero Hanta and Jack Sears. From team 4 Shoto Todoroki, Tenya Iida, Momo Youorozu and Samuel Rodriguez. And 2 Participants from Team 5 Shinso and Aoyama. Give all of them a round of applause for Making it this far into our Annual SPORTS FESTIVAL!"

The entire stadium Erupted in cheers for a hot minute being so loud they were heard all the way in the next town over.

"Now lets grab a little break and we'll gather up again for our Final competition!" Midnight announced before walking off the stage to take a break like everyone else.

[Little bit later during the break]

Anzu forgot her phone from her back so she decided to head back to get it and calling her parents to brag how well she was doing and as she was walking she noticed Izuku in the corridor leading back to the changing rooms and inside the stadium. She picked up the pace wanting to run up to her friends, talk a little bit and congratulate him on getting to the finals but as she almost entered she saw todoroki in front of him and they were... talking?

no not really talking. more like Tododroki just telling Something and Izuku just listening. She should have just turned away and walk in the other direction or just run past them which while it would work would be weird but still... But instead of that she decided to stand around a corner as she leaned against the wall while closing her eyes and listening in...

And she didn't like what she heard. Her knuckles turned white as she clenched her fists in pure rage. She had fought (and won) with bullies in the past for simply picking on someone.

But to hear that someone's own father abused them? And that was a pro hero while at it? Oh no in her book that man deserved nothing short of a life sentence in prison. And yet he was beloved by many... That realization only made her blood boil even more.

She was clenching her teeth so tightly from the pure unhinged rage she was feeling that it was a miracle they didn't crack and shatter. Embers started to fly off of her body as her quirk activated due to her emotional state.

She decided to head inside almost stomping as she made her way towards the locker, her perception and self control clouded by her rage. She pushed her way past a man shoving him slightly with her shoulder. She didn't care who it was or if she even did it. She was too pissed to care.

"Watch how you walk brat." The man barked... That man of course being Endeavor. But she didn't realize it. She was too pissed and focused on her inner rage to realize it.

Normally she would turn around and apologize... Normally. "Kiss my ass " Those were the only words that left her mouth. She didn't even look back at him. She just kept walking.

Endeavor was slightly... Well not slightly. Massively taken aback by what he heard and saw. A girl, the same age as his son, shoving him and swearing at him? Oh no that's not how it was going to go. He turned around to face her before speaking to her in that cold authoritative tone of voice almost everyone was afraid of. "WHAT DID YOU SAY! That's no way to speak to a pro hero you useless waste of space."
