Basic rules of pronounciation

C - before an e or an I is a th sound. Elsewhere it is a k sound.

D - at the beginning of a work is an in English. At the end/in the middle of a word is a th sound.

G - before e or I is pronounced as in loch. Elsewhere a hard g sound.

H - is always silent.

J - is always pronounced as in loch.

LL - as in the English million.

Ñ - as in onion.

V - is always pronounced b.

X - is pronounced as a soft s.

Z - is always a th sound.
