LAUREN'S POV
"Brianna we really need to get going" I shout over the ridiculously loud music, the floor was vibrating due to the bass. I attempt to drag the drunken mess away from the crowd of sweaty people dancing slowly on one another.
Yet again Brianna had gotten drunk, even though she was underage, at one of these stupid party's.
I only come along because sometimes they are fun but more times than not it's boring I don't understand how people still look forward to these party's even though they happen every week.
"But I'm fine, I can stay..." she slurred, I scrunched my nose up at the smell of alcohol on her as she spoke.
I dragged her out of the trashed house that is littered with red cups once filled with alcohol and patches of sick where people have obviously got so drunk they couldn't keep it down, and started to walk down the dark street along with groups of other obnoxious drunk people. The sound of the music became distant as we got further down the road.
"You know what's weird Lauren?"
"What?" I asked, trying to sound interested, knowing that it would just be nonsense coming out of her drunk mouth.
"Well you know we live in houses, and other people live in houses. That means there are lots and lots of houses, so the aliens in space probably think we're all houses instead of people."
"Seriously, that's what your thinking about right now?" I couldn't help but burst out laughing, I looked back at Brianna who had a serious but confused look on her face, as if she was waiting for a response. The fact that she was being serious made me laugh even more.
"Bri if only you could hear yourself" I teased in between laughs, I truly loved Brianna she never failed to make me laugh. I don't know what I would do without this girl.
I looked at my phone to check the time, it was 2:34am and we were still walking around the streets, we were lost which wasn't a surprise because we were completely new to this area, we only joined this university a month ago and already Brianna and I have been to hundreds of party's but none around here. Neither of us had been to this area of New York City before, in fact we have never been in America before now, we were from England but decided that we wanted to go to university in New York.
With it being dark and foggy it was near enough impossible to see very far to try to find out where we are.
Thankfully Brianna was a little bit more sober, able to hold a bit of conversation but still far gone.
"Where are we going?" Brianna whined whilst tugging her short black dress down her thighs, clearly getting frustrated by the way it kept crawling up her thighs.
"I told you, we are going to catch a taxi just wait it should be here any minute" I explain whilst sighing before sitting down on the grass pulling Brianna down with me. Just as I was about to get my phone out to call about the taxi a car pulled up it's lights too bright for this time of night, well morning.
"Lauren, Bri is that you?" A shiver ran down my spine when I heard a voice with a strong English accent call from inside the car. The voice I had become to hate more than anything.
This person has made my life a living hell, every second of the day I regret ever meeting him back at the start of university. I hate him with a passion.
Harry Styles everybody.
Brianna jumped up at the sound of the voice and ran over to the car, how she could love someone like Harry I have no idea. If only I could tell Brianna who he really was.
