Paris is so gorgeous in the Spring! Actually, it's gorgeous all the time. Well, I really couldn't justify that because this is my first time ever being here. So we're just driving around town and I see this little street store. It has little jewelry pieces and shoes but, even more exciting .. "Grandma stop the car!" She slammed on the brakes and we jerked forward.
"What girl ?!" I jumped out the car and stood beside a guy with an afro. I casually stood there waiting for him to notice me.
His POV
I was looking at these peace necklaces at this side shop at Paris. They were so punk rock but, I couldn't decide between the green one and the purple one. I ran my fingers though my hand and its bounced back to the same position as before. I felt the presence of someone standing beside me. She was short, had long curly hair that was black until it got to her shoulders and faded to blonde. She had on a maroon bra slash short shirt type thing, black and white vertical striped pant, and maroon Dr. Martens. She was gorgeous and I had to get her name and number!
"Uh," my voice cracked. Oh shit, this had started bad already. She giggled at the embarrassing sound I just produced. I cleared my throat and began to talk, "Hi, I was expected to find something nice here but not a gorgeous girl like you." She smiled. Yes, gotta put on the charm !
"Um, thanks, FYI I like the purple one way better." She started to walk away.
"No, wait. What's your name?" I asked.
"Just call me Jai."
"Jai, okay. I'm Princeton and you don't have a French accent you know."
"Maybe, it's because I'm not from France. I'm from the US, NC to be specific."
"Oh, okay." I heard a car horn honk and Jai looked back and held her index finger up telling them to wait. "You have to go somewhere, don't you?" She nodded. "How long are you gonna be here?"
"Until Sunday."
"Well that gives us enough time to hang out. If your not doing anything tomorrow wanna chill?"
"Sure, give me you phone and I'll give you mine."
"No. Why are we switching phones? I like my phone." She looking at me like 'what'. "Oh! To switch numbers." I smiled and shook her head. I'm so stupid. We gave each other our phones back and she rushed away.
Jai POV
OMG! I can't believe that worked out... good! My plans never go right. "Grandma, that's Princeton." I pointed to him through the window. "He asked me to hang out tomorrow; can I go? Today is Thursday and we're sightseeing today. Please?!"
"Yes. You can."
"Thank you!"
[The Next Day]
Princeton and I were texting all night. I'm tired but fuck it that's what coffee is for. He's picking me up at 2 and it's 10 now. The anxiety is gonna kill me! I guess I'll go grab some breakfast.
[3 Hours and a Couple Minutes Later]
I took a shower and I'm wearing a TI$A sweatshirt, camo skinny jeans, and Bred 4's. I grabbed my phone, chapstick, lip gloss, and wallet and put them in my back pockets; and I waiting nervously on the couch.
Princeton's gorgeous; so what's not to like? I'm usually not shy around guys but he is so... nerve-wrecking. I'm going to try to keep my cool though. A few minutes pass and it's a couple seconds to two and I hear I knock on the door. I opened the door and there he was looking greater than ever.
"Hi." I said quietly because I'm so nervous; he chuckled.
"Hey, you ready to go?" I nodded and went downstairs. To my surprise he brought Prodigy, Roc Royal, and Ray Ray. That helps alot! "Guys, this is Jai; Jai these are the guys." I waved.
"Well, Jai we know nothing about you so..."
"You right." We began walking. " where do I start?" They sat on a bench and I stood in front of them. "My name is Jai, I'm from Greensboro, NC, my favorite color is purple, my bday is December 26, I love pasta and chili cheese fries, and I love to dance. Is that enough?"
"Lol yeah." Ray said.
"So you think you can dance? Show us what you got?" Roc said and I put my finger on my chin thinking about a song to dance to. I took out my phone and played Murda Bizness by Iggy Azalea. I began to dance and after I was done he said, "Okay, I see you guh." I smiled.
"So what do you wanna do today?" Princeton said.
"I've been dying to go to the Eiffel Tower since I've been here." They nodded and began to walk. I followed behind them. "Ray Ray?" I walked up to him.
"Yeah Jai," I began to scratch his arm. "What's are you doing?"
"My bad I thought your arm itched." I began to laugh; actually I was the only one laughing. "Y'all don't remember that? MB Cam in New York?" They stared with blank faces. I shook my head. "Stop staring at me like I'm talking with a mouth full if marbles." They started laughing then. "Now you remember."
We were walking around Paris all day and I was having so much fun with guys! When we finally made it to the Eiffel Tower we took tons of pictures at the bottom. Then Prince told me we were going to top.
Prince POV
I'm taking Jai to the top of the Eiffel Tower to tell her how I feel. I know it's only been one day but I wanna continue talking to her and I don't wanna leave Paris and we stop talking. Roc, Jai, and Ray jetted to the elevator and I approached Prod.
"Prod, I need you to do me a favor. I wanna keep talking to Jai and I'm gonna tell her how I feel about her at the top. Can you take pictures of us?"
"Yeah Prince. I got you." He said as I passed him his phone.
Jai run to the rail at the top of the tower. I stood behind and put my chin on her should and began to speak. "Jai," my voice cracked. This happens every time. She giggled; her laugh is so cute. It's the perfect time, the perfect setting, and the perfect girl. Now's the time.
"Yes Princeton." She smiled.
"I know it's hasn't been that long but I really like you; and I don't want the fact that we're leaving Paris to affect us talking." I stood beside her, turned her towards me and leaned to her. He didn't resist me at all so I continued until our lips touched. When I pulled away she wrapped her arms around me and buried her head in my chest. I think this worked out good.
Jai POV
WTAF?! Did that really just happen? I looked at Prince. "Departing form each other wont change a thing." He smiled at me and it was a quick flash of light. The guys had a car to pick us up and Princeton walked me to the hotel entrance. We smiled at each other.
"Wanna come to our concert tomorrow? I need some arm candy." He said. I put my hand on my hip. "I'm just playing Jai but, you wanna come?"
"Of course I do." I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and I answered it. "Hello?... Yeah I'm here... I'm like right down the hall... Okay.. Bye. She's a little pressed right now so I have to go but I'll see you tomorrow okay?" He nodded and kissed me on my forehead. He hopped in the car and when it was out of sight I started jumping up and down. I can't believe me and him actually have something.
