"Okay Grandma I'm bout to go." I yelled as I slung my pink cross body over my shoulder. I looked in the mirror to make sure everything was perfect. My hair was straight down with my side bangs out, I had on a black sleeveless crop top, a black and pink floral skirt, and black studded wedges.

"If this guy makes so much money why couldn't he have picked you up or sent you a car?!" I laughed a little.

"I told him not to, calm down." I grabbed a hotel room key, slipped it in my cross body, and went out the door. I stopped outside the hotel, looked left and right and noticed a tall light skinned man looking very serious standing in front of me. There was a car behind him and he was holding a neatly written sign with my name on it. I approached him and he looked down at the sign, back up at me, and said,

"Jai?" I nodded and he opened the door for me. We rode around for about five minutes which is the reason I told Princeton not to send me a car.

There was a huge brown skinned guy standing outside the venue. My driver opened the door and I stood on the sidewalk. He got back in the car and drove off which caused my skirt to flow a little. I walked up to the intimidating bodyguard and he looked at me with a really mean face.

"You need to go to the back of the line young lady, it's around the corner." He's deep loud voice rumbled over all the girls screaming over every little thing.

"Um no, I'm Jai-" I said quietly and sweetly.

"I don't care who you are; if your not one of the performers, I cannot help you." I put my hand on the top of my head.

"But-" I said frustratedly.

"But nothing, do I need to get someone to escort you off this property?!" I was getting fed up with this. I took in a deep breath and yelled at the top of my lungs.

"I'M JAI!" He looked stunned then scared.

"Oh... I... I'm... I'm so sorry. I... I didn't know." I held up my hand signaling him to stop talking.

"Stop making excuses and get me in there." He opened the door and I met a lady at a table in the entrance of the building. "Hi, I'm Jai."

She looked at me and then to the man beside her. She wore a blank face and then she smiled. She pulled her walkie-talkie out, pushed the side button, and began to talk. "Princeton." There was a silence.

"Misfit here." I snickered.

"Jai is here. Where do you want me to take her?"

"Bring her to my dressing room." She nodded and told me to follow her. We walked through this door which lead to a long quiet hallway. Then she stopped at a door on the right and let me in. She told me to wait in the room; I sat on the couch and then I noticed a purple object hanging from the mirror. I walked up to the mirror and looked at it; it was...

"The purple necklace from the little side shop," I turned around quickly and Princeton was standing in the doorway. "I went back and got it for you." I walked up to him and hugged him tightly. I grabbed it and put it in my purse. Princeton looked at me confused.

"I love it but, it doesn't match my outfit." I smiled at him and he smiled back at me.

"Did I mention you look gorgeous tonight."

"Aw, thank you love," I turned around in a circle and said, "I try." We laughed and he grabbed my hand.

"Wanna meet some people?" I nodded and he took me to a reception hall type thing. "EVERYBODY!" I looked at him like he was crazy. What is he doing?! "THIS IS JAI!" Oh no, why did he just put me on the spot like that?
