It's been a month since the Aino Prince thing. I try not to think about it but its so hard not to. I'm in New York with my aunt because she knew how down I was feeling. This is suppose to be a uplifting trip but it's not making me feel good.
Time Square; its... Interesting. There's half naked cowboys and lots of loud cars. I turned to my right and saw a boy at the corner of the street. He was just chilling, leaning on a pole he looked familiar. He was cute and tall, with a messy Zayn Malik hair style.
I walked up to him and tapped his shoulder. "Mannie?"
He looked up from his phone and smiled at me. "Hi Jai."
"What... What are you doing here."
"I moved."
"Oh," I looked down at the ground. "I... I never got to tell you thank you and how appreciative I am for you hel-."
"You don't have to finish. You don't have to thank me. But, you're welcome." I smiled.
"Mannie! Lets take a picture. I haven't seen you in forever." We took a picture and I posted it on Instagram. The caption was: Look who I ran into today! Mannie!
"Oh, Jai before you go can I get your number? New phone, lost all my contacts." Sure. I put my number in his phone and started to walk away. I stopped in my tracks as Mannie yelled back at me, "It was REALLY nice to see you again, beautiful!"
You too Mannie.
You too.
[Two Weeks Later]
*Phone Call*
J: Mannie! I can't wait til you get here!
M: Me either, love.
J: So, I'm gonna tell my dad I'm going to be running errands all day until the cookout, then I'll leave and come straight there.
M: As long as I see you.
I smiled to myself.
J: I have to go so I can leave.
M: Bye baby girl.
J: See you in a few Mannie.
I hung up. I told my dad I was going to be gone all day. He said okay. I was entering the hotel and then my dad called.
D: Jai?
J: Yes dad.
I knocked on the door and Mannie answered.
D: Where are you?
J: I told you that I was running errands I'm grabbing something to eat right now.
D: Oh, okay.
I hung up and hugged Mannie. "Hey Mannie."
"Hey love." He grabbed my hand and brought me to his room in the hotel. "You look... great." I smiled. I had on a white shirt, a navy skirt, and brown Louboutin wedges.
I laid back on the bed and started to take pictures. Mannie laid beside me and we took some together. I put my phone down and grabbed his hand .
"Mannie? What do you see me as? Like, what's my label." I sat up, he sat up too, placed his hand on my cheek and looked into my eyes.
"You are a beautiful, caring girl that anybody would be lucky to have. Even me." I smiled. I looked down to avoid looking in his amazing, hazel eyes. I thought for second and built up the nerve. I kissed him on his lips. I didn't know if I should've but I did it.
He grabbed onto my waist and deepened the kiss. He did want it. I pulled away and ran my fingers through my hair. He lifted my chin and said, "Your mine." I smiled.
"Uh, okay." He leaned into me and I leaned into him, then my phone ran. "Oh my god."
*Phone Call*
J: Hello?
D: Jai.
J: Yes dad.
D: Where are you?
J: I had to pick up something from my friend so I'm getting it right now. I said I'll be back for the cookout so why do you keep calling me.
D: You're right. Bye.
I hung up without saying anything. I gave my attention back to Mannie and stared into his eyes.
[Couple Hours Later]
I was standing in the doorway about leave. "I'll see you tomorrow?" I said flirtatiously.
"Yea- no. I have a photoshoot with AE tomorrow." I looked down at the ground. He lifted my chin up. "But, my flight doesn't leave til 12 am Monday. So come by Sunday." I nodded. He kissed my lips and I started the walk down the hall.
"Bye." I turned around and waved. He winked.
[6 am; Saturday.]
"Jai!" My dad yelled turning on the light. I turned around to look at him through my half way opened eyes.
"What?" I groaned.
"Emery, has that photo shoot today. You promised you'd go."
"Yeah, Jai. Come on!" I smiled at her. I nodded and walked to my closet.
"Hurry up, cause the shoots in Raleigh!" I put on some skinny jeans; a long white muscle tee, I tucked the front in; a purple and blue tribal print bandeau, and Grape 5's.
We arrived at this really tall building; it had nearly had 20 stories. My dad pressed number 15 on the elevator. He told me to take Em to the forth door on the right while he went to the restroom; I think... I don't pay attention to him.
He walked in and a voice said, "Hi."
"Oh, hi." I shook the lady's hand. "I'm Jai. Emery's sister; nice to meet you." Emery went to go get dressed and I saw this full body mirror. I couldn't resist! 😄
I examine my hair and fix it up a little even though I'm not the one taking pictures today. I looked down at phone, "Jai?" I looked up and then turned around.
"Mannie?! What are you doing here?"
"Emery is 'Mannie's' extra." The photographer Lauren interrupted. I smiled and hugged him.
Emery walked out in the cute pink dress. "Come here babe." I picked her up. "You look beautiful baby girl." She smiled.
"Yes, you do." Mannie said. Aww this is a picture perfect moment.
Mannie.😊
