Back in Goldie's, Lucien, (Y/N), and Lilac were looking at the current digs as Spade spoke up

Spade: "You three don't seem all that hung up about Carol and Luke"

Lucien: "Luke's...Luke, I guess. Trying to stay out of trouble while protecting Carol"

(Y/N): "Man, he hasn't changed one bit"

Spade: "Not in the way Lilac did? Right?"

Lilac then got defensive but Lucien and (Y/N) were confused

Lucien: "What the crap's that supposed to mean?"

(Y/N): "Huh...?"

Spade: "Just sayin'. You can't blame your friends for not growing up as fast as you"

Lilac: "Oh yeah. Like you gave me a choice"

Spade: "Aaand you're still holding onto that"

Lucien: "Holding onto what exactly, Spade?"

(Y/N): "Are we...missing something?"

The two then looked at Lilac wide eyed

Lilac: "You stole me from my family before I was even hatched! So yeah. Yeah, I'm still holding onto that!"

Lucien and (Y/N) then looked at Spade, which Lucien went into anger

Lucien: "Spade, you did that?! What was going through your mind?!"

Spade: "Listen Lucien. I was a kid! A kid who need to get in good with the Scarves! I'm sorry that I picked her egg, but that's how it was! We're lucky that I even found my way back"

Lucien then was panicking looking at Lilac, knowing this could happen just like it did with the Magister

Lilac: ""Lucky"?"

She then went towards Spade in anger yelling at him as Lucien had red eyes and was holding his head in pain, knowing the dragon blood was boiling inside. (Y/N) kneeled by him to help calm it down. Lucien then took a deep breath and calmed down which made his eyes back to blue. He looked at the wide eyed (Y/N) and Spade before looking away. Spade then had a sad look on his face

Spade: "Lucien, you okay? Your eyes weren't blue"

Lucien then stood up but still was looking away

Lucien: "Yeah, I'm fine"

He then went wide eyed as (Y/N) did too

Spade: "You and (Y/N) should go after Lilac. She went without you two, not noticing one of you wasn't feeling okay"

Lucien: "Thanks Spade! Come on, (Y/N)!"

(Y/N): "Got it!"

The two then ran towards the steps and headed up before Spade stopped them

Spade: "Wait!"

The two then turned around and looked at their friend

Spade: "I'm sorry you had to know Lilac's past before she hatched"

Lucien: "It's fine, see ya Spade. We're off to find Lilac"

(Y/N): "Yeah, see ya"

The two then turned and headed after Lilac with Spade still at Goldie's

Spade: "Good luck Lucien and (Y/N). Hopefully you'll see why me and Lilac don't talk"

As they came back after calming Lilac down and telling her what happened to Lucien that made her hug him, they all saw that Spade had something to say
