Chapter 9

Ace's POV

Johnny led me to his room and for some reason I felt happy. Like a child again. I jumped on his and screamed, "THE FLOOR IS LAVA JOHNNY!"

Johnny's POV

As soon as I heard her tell me that the floor was lava and start giggling. I knew that she's deaging again. I started to walk towards her and a white light formed around her, moments later there was a naked little red-headed girl looking sad. Uh-oh, she's uncomfortable. She started crying loudly, "Where is my mommy and daddy?" Oh-no I had no choice, "Their gone Ace."

"DON'T CALL ME THAT! I HATE THAT NAME!" she screamed at me. "I'm sorry Evangeline." I said to her. "Stay right her while I go downstairs and get you some clothes that fit you from downstairs." I told her as she nodded her head. I left and ran downstairs, clutching the towel around my waist. "Carlos it happened again. I need you to dress her while I go get dressed." I told him, ignoring everyone else's stares. He nodded his head and went into Ace's nursery room and grabbed a yellow dress with her favorite cowgirl boots.

I went into the guest room downstairs and got dressed in some white skinny jeans, a lime green polo shirt, and my brown shoes. When I came out of the room I saw Ace running around, away from Carlos with my sheets off the bed trailing behind her.

"Evangeline why don't you have your pretty dress and boots on?" I asked politely picking her up. "I don't want him to dress me. I don't like him because he said he threw away all my lollipops." She said to me angrily. Carlos walked up to me panting and handing me her outfit, "Here, you put them on her since she likes you more than me."

I walked over in the living room and we sat in the floor as I dressed her. "How do you want your hair pumpkin?" I asked. "I want 2 tails please." She said to me cutely. I evenly put her hair up in 2 pigtails and wrapped them in yellow ribbon into bows. She scrunched up her face at me and her eyes turned silver. "Hot?" she nodded her head. I looked over at Blake, "Blake can you please turn the cold air up to 100? Yall might wanna get a furry jacket out the closet too." Blake turned the thermostat to 100 and it instantly got freezing in the house.

Carlos, Ace, and I weren't at all phased by the coldness because we all grew up in the cold and we were used to Ace making it freezing in the house all the time. She walked into the kitchen and came back out with two knives. "Will you play the knife game with me Tyler?" she asked me, call me by my middle name. I nodded as I put my hand on the floor, "Dude! Won't she stab your fingers and hands or worse, cut them off?" Michael screeched.

Ace quickly snatched the knife away from me and walked over to Michael angrily. She stabbed each knife into Michaels' feet and whistled bloody murder. I forgot that when she's a little girl, the siren half of her is stronger right now. "Evangeline!" She snapped towards me with her eyes full of anger. She ran towards me and scooped her up. "You can't go stabbing people. Do you understand me?" I said to her in a firm voice. She nodded and started crying, "B-but he t-think I was gonna h-hurt you!" She buried her head in my chest and kept crying. I kissed her head and start rubbing her back in circles. "It doesn't matter what he thinks ok, because I know you won't hurt me." I whispered in her ear softly.

I laid on the couch while Ace slept on my chest. After a while I fell asleep.

Blake's POV

When I saw the little girl stab Alpha Michael in the feet, I was shocked and so was he, but when we saw her start crying into Johnny's chest, we felt bad. So, when both Johnny and the little girl fell asleep I whispered, "We have to get going, your pack needs you. You can't just sit here watching over that little girl. Plus, she stabbed you with 2 silver knives, not regular metal, we need to get you to the pack doctor.
