Gwaine POV;
Dimly, I heard Ariel talking to Leon, but all I could see was a haze of red. It sounded like a million ritual drums were beating inside my head and all I could feel was a strong burning sensation in my throat.
Leaving no thought for the damage it would bring, I slammed him against a tree with new found strength and viscously bit into his neck. I bit down, drinking deeply as my world span and narrowed on this one person. After a while, I let him fall to the ground.
V POV;
I smirked to myself as they both dropped the bodies and turned to face each other, horrified looks coming over their faces as they realised what they had done. They both dropped the (now dead) bodies and Ariel followed, dropping to her knees. They both gasped in pain as something sharp broke through their gums.
''What?'' Gwaine instinctively reached for Ariel, pushing her dark hair back to see. He would, first and before anything, look after others, I thought fondly. ''Come on, lets take you home. Maybe somebody there will know what to do.'' Supporting each other, they began the long journey to Camelot, the place that never will be home again.
