Chapter 9 Prom Is Here

Elsa's POV

I lay on my bed, staring at the pale blue ceiling. I can't stop thinking of Jack. The way he kissed me. Or the way we almost ha... My thought are interrupted by my phone. Why phone?! I grab it and see its a text. From Mer? How did she get my number? Anyways, I unlock my phone and read the message.

'Hey Els! It's Merida. Anna gave me your number. She seems nice' I smile and start to reply.

Merida's POV

I can't sleep. Maybe because of my brothers or that I'm finally Hiccups girlfriend. Ok I admitted it, I have had a crush on Hiccup since we danced together at Junior Prom. I can't sleep, but I don't want to be board, so I'll just go on my phone. I scroll through my contacts. Elsa's name popped up. I decide to text her.

'Hey Els! It's Merida. Anna gave me your number. She seems nice' I type.
I stare at my phone. Elsa replies almost instantly. I guess she isn't sleeping to. Or I woke her up.

'Hey Mer. How are you?' She asks. I start to type when she sends another message..

'And don't worry you didn't wake me up :)' Thank goodness! I don't want Elsa made at me.

'I'm good. Can't sleep. You?' I type.

'Same' Suddenly I remember something my science teacher Mr. Hercules told the class.

'Hey have you heard?'

'No. Heard what?'

'Prom is coming soon!'

'Wait your exited for Prom?'

'No why?'

'No reason.'

'So...'

'So?'

'Do you have a date?'

'You better not be asking me lol' I laugh at her message.

'No don't worry I already have one.'

'Hiccup?' I was shocked. How did she know. Does everyone know?

'No I mean, Yes' I admit.

'How did you know?' I add.

'Well in the time I've been here, I suspected you liked him.'

'Yes ok I do.' I am truly annoyed now.

'So changing the topic, you have an outfit?' I change the topic as fast as I can. I don't want people knowing I like him. One person is enough.

'No am I supposed to have one.'

'Yeah.... sadly.'

'Lol yeah.'

'Want to go shopping tomorrow. Cause its Friday, so Saturday should be good?'

'Yeah totally'

'But can Anna come?'

'Of course! She's a pretty cool gal.'

'So see you tomorrow!'

'See you tomorrow.' I turn off my phone. Yawn! Finally maybe I can get some rest.

Elsa's POV

I wake up. I smell of bacon and eggs. My favourite. I get dressed. I put on a black dress covered with pink and blue flowers and green leaves. Then a light wash opened bottom tie shirt overtop, put in brown feather earrings, and a small necklace. After I slip on my rose pink wedges. I brush out my hair, deciding to leave it hanging down. I leave my room and head to the kitchen.

"Morning Anna!" I say as I sit down on the table.

"Morning Elsa! Is Jack in your room?" She gives me a playful evil grin.

"ANNA NO! He went home last night right after you walked in." Anna laughed and almost fell over. I laughed at her and ate some bacon.

"So... Anna. Merida invited us to shopping for prom." Anna gasped and practically screamed at the top of her lunges.

"Elsa we HAVE to go!" I yelled. I laughed at her excitement.

"Anna your going to wake up the neighbours! And I already told Mer that we are going." She ran through the house.

"Thank you Els your the best sister EVER!" She jumped up and down on the couch like a maniac. I laughed even more. My sister is so weird.

"You better get ready! Mer will be picking us up soon." Anna squealed and ran into her bedroom. I just shake my head and finish my breakfast.
