Claire's POV
I arrived at my house a few minutes ago. My mom was wondering where I was and I answered the most reasonable one:"I got lost in my destiny."
Of course, my mom told me like I'm crazy. But she just told me
"Dear, I don't know whether to laugh at your joke or to question your creative mind." She said
I just shrugged and went to my room.
So thecnically, I am just watching the ceiling doing nothing.
I was thinking about what happened today.
I got suck in a portal. I met one of the most popular girl in school who I thought is going to kill me. I found out I have a demon inside me and I have cool pyrokinesis power.
All of it seems like a dream. I just sighed and thing about the girl in the dark
Who is she? And why did she said that im her friend?
'I am inside you' those were her last words but what does it mean?
I sat up and recalled what she said to me earlier. She said she's inside me so that means-
"Dinner is ready, dear!!" My mom yelled disturbing me from my thoughts.
"Coming!" I yelled back.

We were eating in deep silence.
My mom noticed that something is wrong because she cleared her throat
"Is there something bothering you,dear?" My mom said breaking the silence.
I stared at her and gave her a weak smile
"I'm fine..just a little.....tired, I guess" I replied
Mom nodded her head.
"Say, where did you get that cut on your cheek? And why is your shirt a little torn up?" My mom asked full of concern.
Oh no! I panicked. I started thinking about a believable lie.
"Uh, I got lost in the forest and somehow my shirt got stuck in a spiky plant and my cheeks got cut because I was not watching where I was going." I said, laughing nervously
Mom stared intensely at me for a moment
"Hm, is that so?" She said
"By the way, Dad will be coming home late today" she stated.
"Oh, OK" I said sadly
After I finished my meal, I go upstairs but stopped as soon as I heard my mom calling for me.
"Hon, I know today is the day you will have a bonding with your Dad. But he must go finish his work first, OK? You could always tell me all about your problems" she said
"OK, mom" I said. I went to my room and lock the door. But then suddenly things for blurry and I'm dizzy
And soon enough, I fainted

I woke up in the place I hated the most
"Oh,heavens" I groaned.
I'm in the dark room again with the mysterious girl.
"We meet again" the girl said
"For the last time,who are you?!" I screamed.
She giggled. I growled
"Got a little curious,eh? Although I wouldn't call it a 'little'" she said
"Can you guess who I am?" She asked
"Your last words were' I am inside you' so if I'm correct-"
"-you are the demon inside me"
