Truths and Lies (tfp)

Begin

The base was quiet today. Optimus was on a mission with Arcee. Jazz, Ashley, Ironhide, and Sideswipe were on Cybertron. I was here at base with Ratchet, Bulkhead and the humans.

"So can we actually do something fun" Miko complains.

"Miko. There's nothing for us to do" Bulkhead replies.

"Come on. You gotta come up with something" Blackrose walks in. Blackrose was officially an Autobot. She is Ashley's sister...and they are pretty close now.

"Yeah! What Blackrose says" Jack adds. Blackrose gives a little smirk. She's thinking something.

"Oh oh! Blackrose! You and Ash should totally race" Miko jumps up.

"I don't know" I say.

"It's up to Ashley, Bumblebee" Blackrose says. Raf stays quiet from on my shoulder. This was a topic he didn't want to be apart of.

"Bots coming back" Ratchet opens the bridge. Coming in was Hide, Sides, Jazz, and Ashley.

"Nothing" Sides tells Ratchet. They found nothing. Ashley crosses her arms as she walks over to stand next to her sister. Blackrose is a little taller then Ash. But the way they sometimes acted, you could tell they were related.

"Ash! Can you and Blackrose race for us?" Miko asks very excited.

"No way" her answer was quick.

"Why not?" Jack asks.

"Yeah. Come on Ash. We haven't raced in forever" Blackrose adds.

"Please Ash!" Miko asks.

"Come on! Please!" Jack adds.

"No! And that's it!" Ashley yells. She turns and leaves the main area. Jazz goes and follows.

"Guys. I don't want to sound mean, but maybe Ashley doesn't want to be reminded of anything from the past" Ratchet says.

"Oh. We are sorry. We didn't want to make her mad" Miko says.

"We understand. But she's very sensitive now about her past. She doesn't like talking about it..and you know it. I think she's done with racing" Sides tells them. Raf still hasn't said anything.

"You okay?" I ask him.

"Can we talk?" He asks. I nod my head. I walk out of the main area. We head down a hall with a bunch of rooms. I could hear Ashley's voice.

"I'm sick of it Jazz" I hear.

"I know you are. But this is where we have to be at the time" I hear Jazz.

"Why can't we go back to Cybertron? Actually be happy"

"Ashley. Your happy here on earth. You like earth. It's just the bots that your around make you unhappy" So Ashley was unhappy around the Autobots?

"To make things worse. The Incident is coming back into my mind. Now that Optimus is back" she says.

"What incident?" Raf asks. I only shrug.

"The incident will never come into topic. Not with you, Blackrose, or I around" So even Blackrose knows what's going on.

"Thanks Jazz" I couldn't hear more. I continue to walk down the hall until we reach the last room. I walk in and close the door.

"So Raf. What's up?" I ask. He looks at me.

"I miss her Bee. The fun, happy Ashley. Now she's not like that anymore. And plus, I never hang out with her and you guys don't talk anymore" Raf says

"Raf. I know you miss her. But you and I have gotta move on. And I'm not saying that you can't hang out with her. You and her were close, you should hang out. But I just saying, it's not gonna be the same"

"No. I understand. Thanks Bee"

"Of course Raf. You can always talk to me or even Ashley if you want"

"You wouldn't mind me talking to her?"

"Raf. Just because we don't talk anymore, doesn't mean you cant. You can talk to her whenever you want"

"Really? Thanks Bee" I nod my head. We head back out to the main area.

RAFS POV
I get off of Bees shoulder and walk over to Ashley.

"Can I talk to you?" I ask her. She nods. I follow her into the same room Bee and I went into.

"What's up?" She asks.

"I just really want us to be how we were. We were so close. Like best friends. And now, we don't even talk anymore"

"Things change" she says.

"I know" she looks at me in the eyes. I could still see the old Ashley in them.

"Raf. We were close. I want us to talk. But I don't think it's ever going to go back to how it was. Everything has changed Raf. We are all moving on"

"Can we at least try to make it how it was?"

"Raf. I'm sorry. But it's never going to be like it was. Things have officially changed around here. Including relationships" she turns and walks away, leaving me staring after her.
