A comic - con was coming in two days, and who wouldn't go? Especially if MATTHEW ROBERT SMITH was there? I was very shy around big crowds, so I took my older sister with me. Her name is Margaret. Anyway, on the day of the convention, my MOTHER, of all people, had to drive us to a huge building called The Century Center. "Stay with Maggie. Okay, Cassie?" Mother asked. I nodded. Then she drove off without another word. I wondered how we'd get back home. Then I started to sweat and felt butterflies in my stomach. Then, for some foolish reason, I broke out in song. After singing a round of Who Let The Doc Out, Maggs pulled me by the hood into my dream tower, The Century Center! After arguing for several minutes, we found out the signing was going on for Matt, and I ran to the crowd next to a table labeled Autographs and Selfies with Matt Smith Himself!!!! My sister hollered after me but I didn't listen. Oh my g o s h! I cannot believe this is happening! Was my first thought while waiting in line. Margaret had caught up with me by then. "Geez, the nerve of some people!" She complained. I got so nervous that I needed my inhaler. So I dug it out of my pocket and took a puff. When we finally got to the front of the line, Matt uncapped a fresh Sharpie as I laid down the poster I had gotten for my Birthday the last year. I started to breath quickly. He seemed to notice. "Hallo! And what is your name, then?" Was his question. I dug out my inhaler. "Cathy but people call me Cassie, sir." I replied. "Hey, don't call me sir, please...Call me Matt..." I took a puff and smiled in response. "Who should I write this out to, Miss?" He asked. "Myself, Mr.Smi-Matt..." I answered. He nodded and scribbled out some words, then handed the poster to me. I quickly took out my iPhone and set it to camera mode. I guess he knew what I was doing and instinctively smiled that smile he has. I chuckled to myself and almost squealed with delight as I pressed the Take Photo button. Afterword, I thanked him and we left for the group meeting later that afternoon. Later, Maggie and I were eating bowtie shaped and frosted cookies when the speaker announced that Matt Smith was now ready for the meet. I literally screamed at the top of my lungs and, once again, rushed towards backstage, leaving Maggs sitting there with a half eaten cookie left on her skirt. I showed the backstage pass to the security guard and he let me to the area where Matthew was waiting. Fortunately, I was the first one in...unfortunately, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and tripped over Maggie, who had ran in front of me, yelling angry words as usual. I flipped onto my back and hit my head on...how did it hurt me...Matt Smith's shoes. Instantly I had a headache and a small wound on my forehead. He-as fast as a rabbit - helped me up and called for a medic. The other people waiting for backstage were called back out into the main rooms. I felt lucky to be alone with my impossible crush, besides Maggie. Margaret got a Kleenex out of her purse and wiped my head with it. I guess all of this was too much for me and the next thing I knew, I was waking up to the sound of beeping...
