Here, I was safe. For now. Right now I had to get into a general defense position in this tiny cupboard. Franky would soon tell Jane where I was, since he knew all my hide-and-seek places. Jane had her electric spoon with her most likely, obviously planning to hit me once she found me. Not only did that thing hurt when it hit you, but if she shocked you, you would fall unconscious for sure.

I heard a whisper from outside the cabinet door. Instantly I figured out it was my own little sister, Lilac. How could she betray me like this? After all I'd done, she would hurt me in return? I had even planned on coming back for her after my escape! I thought. This was no time for questions like that, however. She was probably being threatened by Jane, too.

"Here, here, Kitty!" Jane hissed as she opened the door. I kangaroo-kicked her in the stomach, took my backpack, waved good bye to Lilac, and raced to the door. It only took a matter of seconds for me to get out the door, even with the mountain of toddlers and preschoolers blocking the exit of the foster home Jane owned. But as I plowed through them, I turned around to give them an air kiss. I was the only one to take care of them, since the only sane adult in the foster home was my older brother, although sometimes I even questioned his sanity.

I ran until I came to my only friend's house. Before I executed this escape, I decided to write a letter, informing her of my dissappearance, although at the same time not giving enough information if she ever decided to tell anyone. After I dropped the letter on the porch, I ran behind her house through a hidden alleyway. This was the best way to get rid of any stray followers that happened to be chasing me.

I soon found the old junk yard that was only three blocks from the hidden alleyway and settled behind a mountain of rubish. Thank god, too, because if I had run any slower I would have gotten caught by the two police cars going to th foster house. I thought to myself, To another person, it would look like I left prison, with all the police cars and the guilty feeling. The funny thing is, that foster home WAS a jail, just for all the unfortunate orphans that have no where else to go. Poor things.

I looked at the shadows that the trash made, then up at the sun, then back down. I decided it was about 6:00. By doing a couple procedures, I conjured up that it was a breezy, yet warm mid-July night, and to be exact 6:00 on July 17, 2007. And no doubt I was still in Savannah, Georgia.

I decided to take out a water bottle and astronaut food to have dinner tonight, and then fall to sleep. Tomorrow I would find the train station with my disguise so that no one would know it was me. Me. The Great Juniper Hudson. I just couldn't get over how cool it sounded. And now that I'd escaped, I even believed it too.
