Reader's POV
Swing sets creaking, children running and screaming, and the wind blowing. These were some of the things I hear when I play at the park. It's fun. Really. But it would be more fun with friends. But it is fun to draw. Especially at sunset. I was drawing the swing set when a boy approached me. He had blonde hair, a curl, purple eyes that draw me in, and a polar bear.

"Hi. What's a pretty girl like you doing by yourself?" He asked with a soft voice. "My name is Mathiew." He held up his bear. "And this is my bear. What's your name?"

"(Y/n). Nice to meet you Mathiew." I told him. He sat next to me. "Why are you sitting with me? Don't you have any other friends?" I asked. A boy like him should have other friends.

"No. But I do have an annoying brother." He said. Then he noticed my sketch book. "What are you drawing? Is that the swing set?" He asked. I nodded. "Wow. That's really good! Can you teach me how to draw?" He asked. I nodded again.

"Meet me here at this exact time with a sketch book, pencil, and eraser." I told him. Now it was his turn to nod. He left and I was alone again.

~Le time skip of skippyness~

It was that same time and same place. But there was one problem. No Mathiew. Maybe he was running late? Yeah, that had to be it. I waited longer. Still no Mathiew. I was about to go to my house in the ally when suddenly I heard someone calling my name.

"(Y/N)!!!! WAIT FOR ME!!!!" The voice yelled. It was Mathiew. "I'm..... Sorry...... I was..... Late...." He puffed out. He then went back to breathing normally. "I had to sneak out of the house." He said. I never knew Mathiew was that kind of boy.

"It's okay. So let's start our lesson." I said.

"Can I make a request?" Mathiew asked. I nodded. "Lets draw my bear!" Then he held up his bear. I smiled at how cute it was.

"Sure!" I said. Then we started to draw.

~Time skip of pastaness~

"And that's how you draw your bear!" I said.

"Thanks (Y/N)!" Mathiew said. Then he left me. Now I'm all alone again. Days after he would come back and we would draw together. I would wait for him at the park at the same time same place. His parents found out and they were okay with it. We gradually got closer and closer. Even though I had no parents he was like a brother to me. My only family. This continued for years and gradually that brotherly love became my crush. Until one day when we were teenagers.

"(Y/N). I need to tell you something." Mathiew said.

"What is it?"  I replied.

"My parents are moving to Canada and I need to go with them. But I want to tell you something though." Mathiew said. His eyes had tear capsules at the end. I cried giving him the signal to speak. "I love you (y/n). I really do!" He said. I crashed my lips into his.

"I love you too. I think I know something that will help you remember me." I told him. He signaled me to continue. " Let's name you bear! How about... Kumajiro!" I said. Mathiew smiled.

"I like that name. Any ways, I need to go. Hopefully we will meet again." Mathiew said. I started crying. "Don't cry (y/n). You're going to make me cry too." He said. And just before he left I repeated something to him.

"I love you."
