(actually you can help with this whether you have read iron or not, i guess it's just extra helpful if you have!)
so one of the new SOTR casting announcements is maya hawke as wiress — which i think is an excellent choice, she has just the right energy that wiress has!
the only issue is that maya hawke is also cast as a character in my hunger games fic, iron... she plays cheyenne, one of vesper's friends back home in district 6. ironically i'd recently been debating whether to recast her, so the universe has clearly told me YES on that one. cheyenne will also be appearing in the sequel, silver. while i can't tell you much about that yet, i've combed back through iron and tried to find significant descriptions of her character to help with suitable face claims:
— cheyenne is nearly 2 years younger than vesper, as she was freshly 15 years old during the events of iron; so she'll be around 21/22 during silver if my maths is correct.
— she has a twin brother named bolt, played by dean-charles chapman.
— cheyenne is quite anxious as a young girl, she can be startled easily. cries a fair bit in the few scenes she has. vesper sees her as quite responsible and mature for her age. when cheyenne is older, she might be a bit more secure in herself, but still rather serious and focused.
— cheyenne's physical descriptions in iron are that she has a dusting of freckles across her face, long honey blonde hair, steely/gunmetal blue eyes, delicate hands, and chapped lips from chewing on them nervously sometimes.
i'll probably go for a younger and older face claim this time, so if anyone has ideas from these descriptions, please feel free to share them! thank you 🙏
