heyy guys! this is my first story, and i have no idea how it's gunna turn out! please comment on whether i should carry on uploading more chapters of my book! sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes!

"Hurry up Soph!" my best friend yelled from the bottom of the stairs. "We are going to be late for our first day back at high school!"
"i'm coming, calm down!" I replied, walking down the stairs, grabbing my bag that i had dropped on the floor, whilst rushing up the stairs to get a school book.
"Finally!" Mary said, rushing me out the door with our skateboards in hand. "You took your time getting that nook. Now we only have 5 minutes to get to school." We both started pushing harder so we could go faster on our skateboards.
"I'm sorry! We will get ther in time and hopefully get a chance to talk to Sam and Gem." I rushed out t he sentence, hoping that we did get there in time.
"Yay! Absolutely perfect!" Mary muttered.
"Is someone getting abit jealous over there?" I taunted. I knew that she had a crush on Sam, but she is stubborn and won't admit it.
"NO!" She snapped back at me. I just laughed, to low for her to hear, and pushed myself harder.
...
We made it with a minute to spare. "Hey! Sam, Gem! We're finally here!" I shouted, skating up to them and nearly falling on my butt when i reached Sam, who thankfully caught me.
"Hey Soph! Hey Mary!" Sam greeted us. He handed us our schedules.
"Guess what!" Gem almost about screamed in our faces.
"What?" Me and Mary asked in unison.
"Us four have every single class together!" Gem screeched.
"Wow! Really? That's awesome" I said back, trying to calm the over excited Gem.
"I guess we should be heading to homeroom then." Sam said excitedly whilst grabbing Gem's hand and walking towards homeroom.
"Uhhh! Do we have to? I already wanna go home!" Mary groaned, grabbing my arm. I winced but luckily Mary didn't see.
