When homeroom was over, we all went to our first subject which was biology.
"Did you see the new guy?" Mary asked me excitedly.
"Huh? Oh no. I was distracted." I answered as honestly as i could. I was having an argument in my head about whether I should atleast tell Mary about me cutting. I really am not proud of myself for doing it.
"God! Wake up Soph!" Mary slapped the side of my arm.
"I am! I was only thinking." i nearly shouted at her. I saw hurt flash in her eyes but she tried to hide it. "Look Mary. I'm sorry, I guess I am just tired and distracted by a few things." I spoke softly to her, trying to show her that I didn't mean it. The hurt gradually faded from her eyes and she blew out a long shaky breath.
We walked in silence to biology. When we reached the door, I noticed that Sam and Gem had saved us seats right at the back of the class. Me and Mary sat down and listened to the teacher drone on.
'KNOCK,KNOCK,KNOCK'
The teacher went to answer the door, and in stepped a new kid. Mary nudges me and mouthed 'that was who I was talking about earlier.'
I looked at her and mouthed back ' wow! he looks cute.'
We both laughed causing the new kid to look at us with a glint of confusion in his beautiful clear blue eyes. They were the clearest blue i had ever seen.
The teacher saw where he looked and whispered soemthing to the boy. The boy looked at the teacher, nodded, and went to sit down. The only seat left was at the bench next to mine.
The teacher started to talke again so I prepared myself to zone out again. That was until I heard what he was saying. "Class! This is James Lynette. Please welcome him to the class."
The boy, James, smiled slightly and said a shy "hello" to the class. The whole class replied with "hello James" in unison, causing me and Mary to burst into a second fit of giggling. We laugh at random things all the time. James looked at us curiously again, and then the teacher said "Sophie-Anne! Mary! Will you please stop laughing!" We both stayed quiet.
"Thankyou! Right, I will be assigning you your lab partners." Around of groans went around the room. "Sophie-Anne with James, Mary with Sam, Gemma with Ashley..." I didn't listen to another word he said.
I felt sorry for Gem, having to be lab partners with the schools biggest whore! Gem used to be friends with her, well that was until Gem started talking to Sam and hanging around with us. She is a total bitch to us all now, but mostly to Gem. None of us like Ashley, but we never have anyway. She has been annoying us for ages and I have a feeling that she had only just started back then. But we have all learnt to deal with it and no comments of hers affect us anymore.

So, this is the second chapter! =) it is probably really boring at the moment, but i promise it will get going soon! please comment on things that you think would improve the two chapters =) next upload will probably be sometime in the week, depending on how much homework i have! if not, i will upload on saturday! <3 vote, comment + fan <3
