Chapter 25

Michael's P.O.V.

"Luke I don't understand. Why did you do it? You love her!" I said and looked at my best friend.

"Michael you know why...the management-" Luke started.

"Screw the management I'm not breaking up with Beca! No!" I screamed. "And the photos you mentioned? They could've been photoshopped. You don't have to believe everything you see."

"Michael stop! It's because of the band! We wanted to be famous and now we are finally getting recognized and we can't afford to drag our girlfriends into this. Do you think I wanted to break up with Sophie? Well I didn't. I don't know If I should believe the photos but they gave me an excuse to do this. Sophie would be ruined if she would get dumped because of the band. She deserves so much better. I'm not around her because of the tour and god knows when are we returning home."

"I can't...I just can't..." I sighed.

"Michael you'll both get hurt If you don't do it and you know this." Luke said and stood up from the bed.

"Hey guys what's up?" Calum walked in.

"Hey man." I greeted him and smiled.

"So I heard the news. What are you gonna do?"

"Don't mention It. I've already done it and I feel like shit." Luke groaned.

"Really? Well you should. I can't believe you really did that. Have you tought about secret dating or something like that?" Calum sarcastically commented.

"Very funny Hood." Luke spitted at him.

"Guys stop. This is not helping at all." I raised my voice.

"Well you could easily do it If you saw the video Calum has of Rebeca." Luke mumbled.

"What video? Calum what is he talking about?" I was confused.

"Luke shut up! I regret showing it to you now." Calum said and smacked Luke across the head.

"Calum what video?" I was getting more and more frustruated.

"Luke don't!" Calum yelled.

"No fuck this! He should know that his innocent girlfriend was fucking around with Jake while he's gone!" Luke screamed and as soon as the words left his mouth his eyes widened in realization what he's done.

"It's not like that-" Calum started.

"Show me the video." I said. I was pissed and I'm not in the mood to be messed with right now.

Calum gulped and brought his computer. "She has an explanation for this. Keep that in mind" I glared at him and he sighed and pressed play.

Rebeca's P.O.V.

It's time to call Michael on skype. I'm really excited to tell him that I'm coming on tour with him. I can't wait to hug him again and kiss him.

*phone rings*

It was Calum. He probably has more information for me about the tour.

"Hello." I answer.

"Rebeca he knows, I messed up!" Calum rushed.

"What are you talking about?" I got confused.

Just when Calum was about to tell me my skype ringed and Michael's icon popped up. My heart fluttered and I smiled.

"Calum we'll talk later I have to go now." I said and hung up.

I answered the call and turned on my camera.

"Hey babe!!" I smiled.

Michael's face popped up on the screen and he looked furious. His eyes were swollen and puffy.

"Hello Rebeca." He said and blankly stared at the screen.

My heart sank and I got scared.

"What's wrong?" I asked although I already knew the answer.

He knew.

"I don't know, why don't you fucking tell me huh?" He snapped. "You promised me Rebeca. You fucking promised. But that was low."

"It's not like that Mikey It's not!" I tried to defend myself but he didn't have it. Tears started to burn in my eyes and I gulped. "There's nothing between me and Jake I swear."

He chuckled and sniffed. "You broke my heart Rebeca." His words stung and I was shaking.

"Please don't Michael..." I sobbed.

"You make me sick. You probably fucked him already." He continued.

"You don't mean it" I cried.

"I should have dumped you while I still had the chance." He coldly snapped.

"Don't.." I was shaking. It hurt so bad.

"Well you spared me the struggle now."

"Michael stop! It hurts." I was uncontrollably sobbing now.

"It's over Rebeca." He said and closed his eyes. I could see the pain in him.

"No! Please no Michael." I cried and grabbed the computer. "You have to let me explain!"

"I don't have the time for you...and...Alice is waiting for me already anyways."

Alice. Why Alice? He said he doesn't like her. I wasn't just hurt, I was angry now.

"So she got you huh?" I sniffed. "So you are just like all the boys out there. Big fake boobs and personality huh?" I snapped.

He visibly gulped. "Yes...she knows what I need."

That was the final drop and I shattered. It hurt so bad. It was like my heart wasn't beating anymore. I felt empty. I couldn't believe it and that's when I realized why. loved Michael. I never told him I loved him because I was afraid I'd get hurt. But It still hurt so bad.

"Have fun with Jake. Goodbye." He said and ended the call.

I was just staring blankly into the screen. I was completely empty.

My phone started ringing again and It was Calum.

"H-Hello?" I said.

"Shit Rebeca you never listen! What did he say?" Calum rushed.

"It's over Calum...he broke up with m-me." I sobbed.

"I'm so sorry Rebeca I really am-"

"Is it true he's with Alice?" I asked.

"Alice? Um not that I know of..." He hesitated.

"So It's true? He's been with Alice behind my back." I was so frustrated.

"Rebeca I said I don't know, he could have been lying!" He tried to defend him.

"Well he sounded pretty convincing to me!" I snapped.

"Rebeca I really don't know...you should talk to him when you get here. You are still coming right?" He said and I chuckled.

"Yeah right! I'll never talk to him again! Oh and of curse I'll come. My career is all I have left now." I said.

"Okay...are you sure you'll be okay? You sound broken Rebeca, I can stay up and talk to you If you need somebody's shoulder to cry on." He offered.

"No Calum I need to be alone right now. Thank you for everything. See you soon." With that words I hung up and broke into uncontrollable sobs.
