Rebeca's P.O.V.

I spent the rest of the weekend at home. My dad returned on Sunday and informed me that he is doing great at work an that he will probably get promoted in the near future. I am so happy for him.

Sophie tried to talk to me several times but every time I answered she started talking about Michael and I really wasn't in the mood for that so I convinced her to talk to me about her and Luke.

I knew I'll have to talk to Michael eventually. We have a project together at school as well. Ah I love my life (notice the sarcasm). Besides, I don't care what he's doing and I decided to not be upset about it anymore.

"Have a good day at school." My dad yelled after me.

"I will thanks." I yelled back and closed the front door behind me.

It was Monday and as usual I should be going to school together with Calum, Luke and Michael. But today there were only Calum and Luke waiting for me on the driveway.

"Hey." I smiled and hugged them both.

"Hey, how are you?" Calum asked me when we started walking towards the school.

"Fine." I smiled.

Luke stayed silent and was just akwardly walking along with us.

"Luke are you okay?" I asked him.

"He is not here because he thinks you hate him." He said and I immediatley knew what is he talking about.

"I don't hate him. He can do whatever he wants with his life. It's not a big deal really. I was overreacting because I was drunk..don't worry It won't happen again." I tried to sound as careless as I could and hoped I convinced him.

"But you li-"

"Luke don't forget that we have a band practice today." Calum jumped in and cut him off. I was grateful for that and I smiled to him.

"Jup...I know that." Luke snapped back and he looked offended.

"You could come Rebeca. Since there is not tnesions between you and Michael that shouldn't be a problem?" He said and gave me that hypocritical smile. I knew he knew.

"Um sure." I answered and made sure that I gave him a fake smile.

We arrived to school and there was Michael standing at the front entrace. He looked frustrated. He smiled at the boys but when his eyes met mine he looked down. I got a strange feeling in my stomach but I had to ignore it. I have to pretend like nothing happened and that I don't care.

"Don't lie to yourself Rebeca.." Calum whispered to me before he went on and greeted Michael.

"Hey." Michael greeted me.

"Hey." I smiled to him and hugged him. He froze but quickly relaxed. He gave me that puzzled look and he looked confused.

"I need to talk to you." He said to me quietly so others wouldn't hear.

"There's nothing to talk about Michael. You can do whatever you want and I don't blame you."

I saw a flash of dissapoitment on his face and I could see the saddnes in his eyes. I had to do it so I continiued.

"I didn't mean anythig so let it go." I said and put a fake smile on my face. I patted his shoulder and headed towards the lockers.

He was just standing there speachless.
