Chapta 3- making friends of my own, plus hearing my mum's setup.
"Cordelia! Over hear, you have to get this!" Baby doll says.
I jog over from wear I was looking at some tops and join her in the jeans section. She points to the jeans and says "there high waisted and they'd go good with the mini-tops you picked. They have some ripped ones to!" I laugh and smile.
I take a look at them and honestly I'm not sure, I've seen other girls wear them but me? Then again everytime baby doll suggests something I have gone "I don't know, it won't suit me" followed by us going to the change room and me loving the outfit everytime.
"Ok, ill get it" I say trusting her judgement.
"Ya know baby doll outside of work, I would of never guessed you were a maid. You have very good taste in clothes" she smiles "what am I for, thanks for taking me out" she says.
"Oh and you really didn't have to give me so much money! I feel bad already for accepting it" she says and shakes her head "yet I'm grateful, plus were bff's now".
I smile "I like the sound of that" I say.
Then we continue looking through clothes, it was no big deal giving her 500 dollars. Plus by the end of the day I want her to leave with as much clothes as me."
We pick out a few more mid-drifts, pumps, sneakers, make-up, jeans, shorts, trackies, jackets, jumpers, t-shirts, dresses, cardigans and some silky pajama bottoms and singlets.
We where headed over to the cash register when I hear a guy's voice yell out "yo, baby doll! You coming to the party tonight" followed by the guy running over and giving her a hug.
Baby doll replied "yeah as always oh and my girl here will make a show to".
I smile and give her a crazy look before the guy looks at me "nice to meet you I'm peet, what's yours?" He says.
I smile and look over at baby doll, everyone has Nick names but me. Lucky baby doll speaks up and gives me one quick "her names cord but it'll likely change by the end of the day, she known by many."
"Well catch ya later, I'll be looking for you" then he leans in and kisses baby dolls cheek "so don't be a stranger" he says then walks off.
We get in line at the cash register and baby doll tells m more about the party and while we put our clothes on the conveyer belt she says "my two brothers will be there too, you can meet them, they'll like you".
After a good amount of money was spent we where on our way back down to the limo, where the driver is waiting for us I'm sure. On the way there we almost walked past a certain shop before baby doll pulls me back and says "we're getting stuff from her" followed by her dragging me into Victoria's secret.
We picked out some really lacy pretty looking bra's and matching underwear in all colours then surprisingly spending more money then the clothes we finally made our way down to the car.
Once the driver insisted on packing all of the stuff in the limo we took baby doll to her place and carried her shopping inside. Then we exchanged phone numbers and she said she'd be by to pick me up around 10pm, time to take risks right.
I pack away my stuff and start to get ready already getting nervous as I curl my hair, should I text and say I'm not feeling well?
