NEVER FORGET WHAT WATTPAD TOOK FROM US!!! BRING BACK PRIVATE MESSAGING!!! THE INBOX IS NOW FUCKING USELESS!!!

do you guys think the tone of this ff is right for the survival scenarios?

Also massive info drop ahead (im sure yall already know this)

i just found out that the 'visors'/'screens' of the drones that show their eyelights is just a sheet of tinted glass with a projection displaying on them. You can see this for yourself in episode 1 where Thad turns around, towards the other workers, and you can see his left eyelight from his right side (through the glass, next to the right eyelight). You can also see this with Lizzie, although I do forget what scene it happens in episode 1.

That would also explain why when their glass visors are cracked or half-broken, you can still see their eyes without the glitches of red, green, and blue light near the cut, which you can see when you cut a regular screen. Another piece of evidence for this theory is the fact that the magnet managed to affect Uzi's visor during episode 6, when she was strapped down to the chair.

Horseshoe magnets have low magnetic strength, and even so, would not be able to affect the display, and CRT screens are the only types of screens that would be affected by them anyways. That would mean that the only reason why Uzi's display would be affected by the magnet is that the projector inside her head (which displays facial expressions), is being affected by the magnet, although unlikely, is more likely than the drones being equipped with CRT screens.

Also, ever wonder why they use VHS tapes and old analog equipment instead of fancy modern monitors and stuff? Well, it's so that the worker drones can't interact with them. If it was digital equipment, then the workers would be easily able to steal information or access it. However, with analog stuff, the worker's can't as easily gain access to the information, and will have a harder time storing it on themselves or modern storage devices due to the incompatibility of ports on the devices used.

I have also confirmed that the drones have socketed CPUs, since, in episode 2, when they flash through pictures of parts from the dead worker during the forsensics investigation, you can see a Socket 775 socket (from early 2000). So that would mean... the single-core celeron dark ages. Or it's a variant of 775 built for commercial server use. Still, quad core. Nothing close to the 64-core behemoths of threadripper server CPUs we have today.

With that, the info dump is over.

ALSO EVERY TIME I SWITCH CHARACTERS I WILL INCLUDE THE TIME OF THE DAY (morning, afternoon) AND THE DATE, SINCE I ASSUME SOME OF YOU ARE CONFUSED ABOUT TIME

Also i introduce new murder drone -yay - i havent written an oc for an md yet so hopefully i do good :)

And if yall are wondering why i introduce him, obviously i want you and robert to survive, but it would take insane plot armor, so to make it more reasonable we get a buddy!

Serial Designation C was illegally under ownership of Dexter Industries. He didn't know of course. His memories had been reformatted into unintelligible lines of emojis and English symbols, taken from him, stored in a somewhat outdated Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe) storage drive, and then burned right after.

Overall, he was a pretty happy disassembly drone (according to his personality file), sporting a Dexter Industries, FedEx Division cap (sitting loosely on his head), a beach–themed button-up golf shirt, and light blue shorts. He followed orders obediently, but made sure they were up to his moral code first. Which was constantly changing, depending on the mission. Seems pretty... convenient, if you asked anyone but C.
