~Summer's POV~

I think Derp and Ian are adorable together, but man do I pick the worst times to enter a room.

After that awkward walk in with the Derpee couple, I decided to go outside, but as soon as I exited out the back door I see Winter and Sean outside holding hands.

"Winter and Sean sitting in a tree! K. I. S. S. I. N. G!" I scream in her ear, making her jump.

Both of them glare at me, arms crossed at the same time.

"See, you even do everything in sync, how cute." I say making a heart with my hands.

"Haha very funny, just don't say anything to Penguin OK?!" Sean says with an unimpressed face.

"Okay? Why can't she know?" I ask him.

"Just don't tell her!" He yells, poking me harshly before walking inside. Mitch, Jerome, and an angry Ian running out when he opens the door.

I turn to Winter just in time to see her facepalm, "idiot."

"What did I do!?" I yell, throwing my hands in the air.

"Nothing, absolutely nothing." She starts going to the door but stops, putting her ear to the door.

"What are yo-" she grabs my arm and forces my ear to the door to listen before I could finish.

"...Right, wrong story. Where's Seto!?" Someone yells.

"Um...upstairs with Brice?" I hear Derp answer.

I open the door just a crack to see a girl with gray hair and blueish green eyes rush up the stairs.

I look over at the pond just in time to see Mitch falling in the pond, dragging a yelling bacca with him. Ian stands at the edge laughing and taking pictures of the two with their phones before coming back to the door.

"Hey Summer." I open the door for him, Mitch and Jerome following after him. Winter laughs as they pass us.

I turn to look at her and she stops laughing when she sees I'm not laughing along with her. "Winter...."

"What's wrong?" She puts her hand on my shoulder.

"...I think I just saw Shadow...."

~Ian's POV~

I quietly lead Derp upstairs to my room, opening the door for him he slowly sits down on the bed. I go over and sit beside him, looking at him with concern.

"Are you sure you're okay?" I ask.

Derp looks at me uncertain about anything. "I saw her, why won't you believe me?"

I don't know why, but lately he's been acting....different...smarter I guess? Not as Derpy and blood thirsty as he use to be.

"It's all in your head Derp." I lean over and kiss him silently on the lips, when we pull away he snuggles his head into my chest.

"You smell like cake." He says nonchalant.

I laugh and pat his head, wrapping my arms around him and squeezing him. "Everything smells like cake to you."

"Not everything, just you...and cake. You also smell like blood." He looks up at me.

"Well, I do have blood inside of me..." I kiss his forehead, he goes back to snuggling with me.

You worry me sometimes...

~Summer's POV~

"That's....not possible." she says in shock.

"I saw her, she run up the stairs looking for Seto!" I yell, opening the door and running in only to run into someone.

"Squishy!" Penguin squeezes me.

"Oh come on!" I yell in frustration.

"Why won't you love me!" She yells, kissing my cheek.

I stare at her, "Really."

Winter stands behind us laughing.

"What?" Penguin asks confused.

"What the freak is wrong with you." I say nonchalant.

"How much time do you have?" She answers.

I sigh, Penguin stands up, helping me up too.

"Now can we find Shadow?" I look at Winter.

"Summer, she's not here. It's all in your head." She tells me.

"I saw her!" I yell.

Winter puts her hands on my shoulders and pushes me to the couch and makes me sit down.

"Shadow isn't here, she's gone." She explains sitting beside me.

"I...I saw her." I try to tell her but she doesn't listen to me.

"Who's Shadow?" Penguin asks.

"Shadow is our sister, she's a shadow creature... and she's dead." Winter explains, looking at me as she says the last part.

I cross my arms and look at the floor, "I saw her, I'm not crazy."

"I didn't say you were, but you didn't see her." She sits down beside me.

I shake my head, refusing to believe it.

I know what I saw, I seen her I know I did.

"Summer, are you feeling alright? Are you sick?" Winter feels my forehead for a temperature but I hit her hand away.

"I'm fine!" I yell jumping up and running towards the door. I can hear Penguin yelling my name behind me as I run, but I don't stop.

A/N I know it's a bit shorter than usual XD I have some big plans for this book in the last 5 chapters...that's right. Theres 5 chapters left in this book, maybe an extra, who knows ;D anyways, byeeeeeee guys and girls! :D too bad you'll never know what Shadow is going to say to Seto :3 Lulz! Not yet anyway! XD
