Knock, Knock

~Seto's POV~

We stood there for what felt like hours, soon I found myself kissing him back. Brice lets go of my wrists and wraps his arms around my waist, my hands drop to my side. I wasn't enjoying this, not at all. It's like my heart wanted him but my brain was screaming at me to get away, but unfortunately someone else made that choice for me. Suddenly, Brice just disappeared and I fall forward to the ground with a thud. I look up to see the same girl I saw today, before Brice died.

The girl giggles before coming over to me, holding her hand out to help. I take her hand and she helps me stand. The girl then turns around and starts walking slowly away, "Follow me."

I silently follow her, currently not in the mood to talk. She leads me to Ian's bedroom door and goes in, I follow without a second thought.

I see Ian sitting on his bed, he looks up at me confused the moment I walk in, "Seto?"

I stay silent.

"So you're the 'other' that Shadow was talking about?" He asks me.

I look at him, shocked that he actually knows her name, "She told you her name!?" I can see 'Shadow' flinch as I yell.

"Let's not fight. With both of your dreams connected you can wake up from this nightmare easier, but if you don't do it soon...everything you just saw back there is going to come after you. And I won't be able to stop them." She explains to us.

"Alright, how do we get ou-"

"I'm staying." I interrupt him.

Ian looks at me surprised, "What do you mean dood? You can't stay here."

"I deserve it, I'm a monster." I go over and sit down beside him.

"Some people would consider me a monster, do you think I am?" Shadow asks.

I look up at her before shaking my head no.

It's the truth, I guess. She did save me, but I didn't need to be saved.

"What would your friends say if they found out you are thinking that way Seto..." She trails off at the end.

"Can I stay just a little longer?" I ask.

She nods her head before turning to Ian, "Now, close your eyes."

Ian looks at me, "What about Seto, I can't just leave him here dood!" Shadow flinches again at his yelling.

"He'll be fine, I'm staying here with him till he decides to come home. Close your eyes."

Ian closes his eyes, nodding his head to tell her to go on.

"It's just like teleporting, think of where you want to go." She explains.

"I've never teleported before." Ian says in disappointment.

"That's alright, just try." She encourages him.

Suddenly, Ian starts to fade away till he's gone completely. I look at Shadow and she smiles at me, I frown, "Leave."

Shadow tilts her head in confusion, "I have to stay here for when you want to go home."

I start looking at the floor, "I'm not going home, I'm staying here....forever. It's safer for my friends if I'm not around them."

Shadow goes up to me, holds my hand and makes me look at her, "I don't know what this dream has told you, but I can assure you that you protect your friends more than harming them. I already told you what I am, and I know for a fact something bad is going to happen...and your friends need you when it does."

I look at her and smile, "alright, I'll go back...but let me stay for just awhile longer...I'll go home after, I promise."
"You better." She laughs before standing up and going over to a corner, disappearing into the darkness.

~Ssundee's POV~

I open my eyes, the first thing I notice is that I'm in my room laying on my bed. The second thing I notice is Derp, happily sleeping with me in his arms. It almost made me want to go back to sleep, but some part of me knew if I did.. I would be back to that nightmare again.

No way I'm doing that.

"Derp, hey...wake up dood. Derp?" I try to get out of his grip but he just tightens it every time.

If I move anymore I won't be able to breath...

I kiss him on the lips and his eyes suddenly open in alarm. And I get squeezed to death.

"D-Derp.......C-can't....breath!" I yell out.

Derp calms down and lets go of me, "Sorry Ian..." He apologizes.

I kiss his forehead, "It's okay, I'm not mad."

"You were screaming in your sleep..." He says looking at the floor.

"Yeah, it was just a bad dream Derp. I'm fine." I reassure him.

Derp looks up at me concerned, worried, and probably not believing that I'm fine.

I get up and stretch to avoid his stare, "How long was I out?"

"It's morning...you went to bed last night." He answers.

"Oh..." I walk over to the door and open it, Derp quickly jumps up off the bed and follows me. We go downstairs, it's quiet and no one is up yet, "So, what do you want for breakfast?"

"Cake?"

I give him an 'Are you serious look' before getting out two pieces of cake from...yesterday I think. I set the plates down on the table and sit down, Derp sitting down too and quickly eating his cake. Suddenly there's a knock on the door, I look at Derp who is too busy eating his cake to even notice. I sigh before getting up and walking over to the door. I put my hand on the doorknob and slowly turn it, and open the door. I stare in shock at the person that's in front of me.
