---Sam's POV---

As I reached home, I immediately asked Mommy for permission if it was okay to stay with Owen for the weekend because of the stupid project. My mom approved instantly without doubting her decision, just as I thought she would.

I ran to Owen's house and paced up the stairs looking for him. I wonder if he activated the babies already, I was worried for that. He must be traumatized just by staying with those babies for minutes, knowing he was the anti-kid person. Surprisingly, I found Owen mixing the baby food mix on the sink. I was filled with awe seeing him play daddy so seriously. He looked adorable, yeah.

"Where's Julia and Pumba?" I checked around. I gotta get used to those names, they were like a new addition to the family.

"My Pumba baby is in my room with your Julia and now, I'm about to give them their meal." Owen spoke like an expert. It made me giggle a bit, I hadn't gotten over with the awe yet. Owen acting like this was really really rare and unusual of him. Imagine a tall guy who looked like a proper gangster, with husky voice playing daddy seriously. I couldn't stop wondering what phased him into this.

How'd he become so responsible?

"Keep yourself busy Owen, you're doing great! I'll be in the living room downstairs." I held my giggle. One word; Absolutely gay. Okay that was two, but he looked hilarious!

"Sure, I'll call on to you when I need some help." he headed towards feeding the infants.

I switched the TV on and sat on their huge chesterfield. Got some Cheetos and dug into them as if they were the last ones left on earth. This was probably the first project where Owen participated in full attention while I sat back and relax.

Moments later, I noticed Popsie making noises, whining there and squealing here. She was roaming around the room troubling me. Oh right! Oops, I forgot to feed her. I stood up lazily and heated her expensive lamb meat before Owen finds out I wasn't keeping my eye on her. But as I my eyeballs focussed at the object next to my feet, I knew for sure it was a rat. I felt so grossed out just thinking how close it was to me. I went squirming up and down, shrieking on top of my lungs dropping the dog food all over the floor.

"Owen! A rat!!! Owen! Help!!! Please get down!" I called out for him. I wasn't sure if my mind was working normally, I was absolutely terrified of this thing.

He roved down immediately clutching a broom on each of his hands. "Where?!"

"Over there!!!" I pointed the unusual creature. I quickly monkeyed onto Owen's back, terrified to set foot on the floor. Safety first!

As he was about to smash it like tomatoes, I stopped him.

" Wait!!!, it doesn't look like a rat, it kinda looks more like a.... Oh my God Owen, It's a newborn puppy...." I said, sending chills to the back of my spine.

He was in shock and was in the same state as I was. Then Popsie clenched on to it with her mouth and scoffed behind the sofa. Owen with me on his back, followed her footsteps and spotted her nesting ground. There were three of the little things and we didn't even know she was pregnant! We thought of how we treated her lately, pity doggie. I got off Owen's back trembling and now the reason was because he was too tall for me to keep up.
