---Sam's POV---
I sat alone in the cafeteria with the problematic box on the table. Jake and I decided to take turns in taking care of the baby. Gladly we were fine about interacting with each other even if it was rather awkward. If not, I would be raising her alone. It was a 'she', a female and I named her Julia myself. Good thing it wasn't living or I would never forgive the father in deciding over this arrangement.
Where's Owen by the way? Talking about the devil, he popped up.
Owen suddenly sat beside me, looking more problematic than my situation with the baby doll. Obviously, he wasn't in a good mood. O-oh...
"What's up?" I asked, chill as possible. One wrong move, BOOM, uncontrollable wild beast he goes.
"Nothing" he answered with his eyes shut. Woah, he seemed more relaxed than I predicted.
" You look terrible, are you sure?"
"It's~, nevermind. I'm fine." He held his turmoil. I knew he was keeping something from me but I let him go for now.
"Oh, okay... So, where's your baby?" I shrugged, resting my head on his shoulder. Falling asleep was the most tempting problem whenever my body rests on his. Contagious laziness disease I tell you.
" How should I know?" he stressed out calmly.
I raised my eyebrow and gave him the 'Duh, obviously you're the father look'
" He's with Britney" he answered my useless question.
" So it's a boy. I saw him in your arms a while ago, you look good with him." I admitted. Really Sam? You didn't have to say that.
"Thanks?"
"So how are you two gonna take care of him?"
" I'll talk about it later with Britney. And back to you?"
"Umm, we're taking turns with Jake."
" So you're still talking to that dirtbag after what happened minutes ago?"
"What exactly did happen minutes ago?" I curiously asked.
"Oh nothing" he answered quickly and I knew something was wrong. But I didn't care. Enough mentioning about that crappy guy's name, my nerves were going to hemorrhage. " You know what, You don't need Jake in raising this kiddo for two days, I'll raise him with you." he assured me.
"You? You will do that for me? But Jake's grade?" I was still worrying about him.
"Don't worry about that dumbass, tell him you'll get him a high grade."
"No way, my hardwork, my score"
"It's a lie. Give him a zero when Mrs. Potter asks you to score him, no big deal."
I laughed at his idea. There was a high chance of me listening to his idea.
As we finished our meal, we went back to our lockers, pulling out our History book and others stuffs. Then Britney came over to Owen with their baby in her arms. Excited much? For God's sake, why did she activate it when we still had afternoon classes? Blondes. "Owen! Let's name him!" She galvanized uncontrollably.
" You want me to name him?" he laughed as if everything was a funny joke.
" Yeah, what's wrong?"
"Umm, I'm not good at those stuff."
" Just randomly think of it, or do you want me to name him Owen+Britney= Owtney?" she grinned widely.
It was the worst name that I have ever heard of in my entire life. Owtney? Sounds more like oatmeal. I couldn't hold it no more, throwing me into the sea of laughter. Owen submerged with me too and disagreed fully.
" Let's name him Pumba" Owen suggested seriously this time.
"What?" Britney was confused, even I was baffled. Hey! I'm Owen's Pumba, not both of your baby's name! Jealous me but I only complained in my thoughts of course.
"Pumba because he's chubby and fat" he smiled brightly.
"Oh, okay" she agreed with a weird expression stapled on her face. "So, do you want both of us to stay in and take care of him?" she discussed further.
" I don't think that's ever happening Britney, why not take turns? I'll take care of him till Saturday night, is that fine with you?"
Britney nodded and giggled.
"Enough with those baby stuffs. Hey Owen, let's get some sodas please?" I wanted to distract them. I don't know, maybe I was jealous that my best friend was enjoying the moment with my virtual enemy.
"Sam, stop acting jealous. Owen only sees you as a friend." Britney meanly indicated. Oh yeah? You want a fight? Bring it on girl!
"I know that. You either, Owen only sees you as a clinging blonde slut." I talked back. I think I backfired too harshly, oopsies.
"Owen, she's hurting me" she pouted. What?! Excuse me? Attention, a devil disguising as an angel we have here! Such a dramatic hypocrite, whatever.
"Sam, be careful of what you're saying." Owen eyed me but I knew he wasn't serious about it, unlike how I was. Though he wasn't serious, Britney thought he was, so it wasn't fair.
"Whatever Britney, come on Owen, let's go." I pulled him, pissed off. I tried entangling myself from summoning a wrestling rink.
"I can't leave Britney like that." Owen whispered really low, stopping me.
"Ugh, Owen, don't be guilty about little problems like this. Excuse me, she's obviously acting like a perfect drama queen for crying out loud. She's mean when you're not around, trust me." I tried bruiting out softly even if I was irritated.
"But she did nothing wrong. Admit it Sam, you insulted her first."
"She said you only saw me as a friend!"
"Exactly. What's the problem with that? You're not my girlfriend, are you?" He was confused. Oh no, he was right. why was I jealous about it anyway.
Fine. I forced myself to turn around and get myself to apologize like a boss. I'd rather have this problem sorted out than piling more grudge towards her. But as I laid my eyes upon her, Britney was smirking like a devil fairy. Calm down Sam, hush little soul of mine. I let her pass for that, but until she mouthed the words 'Sam you B*tch', I steamed up like a kettle.
"Owen, did you see her do that?!" I wanted to prove him that she was the vicious lady I kept talking about.
"What?"
"Ughh! Never mind!" I walked away from them, heading straight to my class. I needed some time to cool down this sh*t.
"Wait, Sam!" Owen called out.
"Sam wait! Oh Owen, I don't know why she hates me this much." I heard Britney talking like a lost puppy.
I didn't mind them and headed straight to my destination, the all-so-boring-classroom. I couldn't stand Britney, sorry Owen my friend, cheerios. Meet you after school.
