We open the scene in the Midoriya house, where we see Inko cleaning dishes after they ate breakfast. She sighed as she thought about the absence of her son, as he had left early before any of them woke up. At first, she was worried but seeing his school uniform gone she concluded that he must have left for school. After finishing the dishes, Inko headed to his room and upon entering could see how much it's changed, the room still had different posters of superheroes and anime, but before it was mostly All Might.
Inko: Damn it Toshinori.
Inko lay down on his bed and thought about the day she and Izuku spent together, though part of her was mad that he hid the whole Tenko thing. Part of her could understand why he did it, the boy was too kind sometimes and she blames herself as he takes more after her than his father. She had called the school to confirm if it was true and was told by Crowler that it was but no one but her son was supposed to tell her.
Inko: He always was hard-headed, so I'm not too surprised.
Flashback: While Izuku was with Eri
Inko was currently in the front room, drinking a milkshake while her little brother and sister-in-law sat on the other couch. A smug look on her face, a rarity for her.

Inko: *smug* So you saw my text, right?
Kotaro: *nervous* I-I did.
Inko: So not only did my baby get in but I heard you two are getting divorced.
Kotaro: *sigh* It's true.
Inko: Well I'm not surprised, we told you if you kept treating her like you were she would leave you.
Kotaro: I didn't think she would actually go through with it.
Nao: How could I not?
Inko: Well Hana-chan is in college, so there's no reason for her to stay.
