Alright chapter 3, I had to edit a lot of this and it ended up longer then the last time. But I've kept you waiting long enough. Third Pov:
The next day, the school day went by as normal. Students would go about their day as usual, for most of the day it was normal subjects such as math, social studies, English, and so on. Currently, it was lunch time and we see Izuku sitting by himself after getting his lunch from the pro duelist Lunch Rush.
Izuku: *happy* So good~ Finally a school that gets that food can be healthy but doesn't have to taste horrible!
Iida: Ah Midoriya! Mind if we sit here?
He looks up from eating and sees Ochaco and Iida standing over him.
Izuku: O-oh um sure I don't mind.
Ochaco: *smiles* Thanks Deku!
Izuku cringed when she called him that.
Izuku: *nervous* U-Uraraka, what did you call me?
Ochaco: Deku, I heard the blonde guy with the spiky hair say " That damn Deku!". Is it a nickname?
Izuku: *sad* It is but not in a good way. It's short for "Defenseless Izuku," hence Deku. Doesn't help that it comes from the word Dekunobou meaning good for nothing.
Iida: *mad**hand chop* That is unexpectable to call someone such a demeaning name!
Ochaco: *sad* I'm sorry I didn't know. I just thought that it sounded like "Dekiru" meaning you can do anything.
Izuku saw the sad look Ochaco had and started to feel bad. Though he did feel a bit offended about that name since most of his old classmates and so-called friends said it to make fun of him. This was the first time someone called him that cursed name and did not mean it as an insult.
Izuku: Y-You can call me D-Deku if you want.
Saying it made him feel disgusted, but at the very least it made Ochaco smile.
Ochaco: *smiles* Then I'll call you Dekun, that way it's my way of saying Dekiru!
Izuku: *blush* (A girl changed that name!)
Ochaco: Oh yeah check this out!
Ochaco takes out her deck and pulls out a card with a dragon on it. The dragon looked like it was made of pure energy and had atk and def similar to a Blue-eyes.
