FORGIVE YOURSELF
You curse yesterdays' sins
Wishing none of them were real
You wonder about the path you're heading
Whether this life is still worth living.
Allah asked you in HIS book, saying,
"Where are you going?"
HE wants you to come back to HIM
Towards Islam, the right path of believing.
Believing that HE is the Oft-Forgiving
That's why we say 'Bismillahirahman nirahim'
So what's hindering you from pleading for HIS Mercy?
What's stopping you from becoming a Muslim?
All deeds Allah can forgive
HE is pleased when HIS slave repents
HE would even convert all your bad deeds
Into good deeds
If you make tawbah through prayers and patience.
But how can you ask for forgiveness
When you haven't forgiven yourself first?
Don't you know that this might be Allah's way
For you to get closer?
Closer to Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala
Closer to Paradise, Firdose Al - Jannah
Closer to fulfilling your heart's emptiness
Closer to living life with peace and happiness.
Never despair in the Mercy of Allah
Talk your heart out to HIM in Salah
HE made you so HE knows you too well
HE is our Rabb but HE's also our Wali and Friend.
Forgive yourself and keep moving forward
Stop punishing yourself and don't be too hard
The hadith says that Allah loves us more than our own parents
Oh come back to Allah and make sincere repentance.
Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) has narrated
That if the world were made of people who didn't have sins committed,
Allah would replace them with people who sin
Simply because Allah loves to forgive again and again.
The hatred and guilt that reign in your heart
Are actually blessings in disguise
As they made you understand how wrong you have been
So forgive yourself now and come back to HIM.
