Arsh:

I pushed open the door to our shared bedroom, laptop in hand, exhausted but ready to get some work done. For the past few days, I had been sleeping in the other room, avoiding unnecessary encounters with Aira.

But tonight, for some inexplicable reason, I found myself here again, back in our shared space.

Aira was already there, sitting cross-legged on the bed, scrolling through her phone - the phone I recently gave her - as if my presence didn't faze her. But I knew better. The moment I stepped in, her shoulders stiffened slightly before she masked it with indifference.

Her eyes snapped up to me, "What are you doing here?" she asked, her eyes narrowing.

I raised an eyebrow. "Last I checked, this is my room."

She scoffed. "You have been sleeping in another room, stay there."

I walked towards the bed, shrugging off my jacket. "Move."

She barely spared me a glance. "No."

I let out a breath, already feeling my patience thin. "Aira, move."

I ignored her, setting my laptop on the bed. "I need to work. Unlike you, I actually have responsibilities."

She crossed her arms. "That's not my problem. Go work somewhere else, why not use the room across from mine - the one you have been using for the past few days."

I crossed my arms. "I changed my mind."

"Well, I didn't." She flopped back onto the mattress, making a show of getting comfortable. "Find somewhere else."

I clenched my jaw, "I am not in the mood for this, Aira."

"Neither am I," she shot back.

I exhaled sharply, picking up my coat and moving towards thr walk-in closet. "By the time I change and come back, you better decide which side you'd like to take."

"Alright," I heard her extra sweet voice speak behind me, "since you insist."

Rolling my eyes, I grabbed a t-shirt and a pair of track pants, unbuttoning my shirt as I walked out. I had barely gotten my second button undone when I heard a splash.

My head jerked up, and I found Aira standing by the bed, an empty bucket in her hands, a victorious smirk on her face.

Water dripped from the bed, seeping into the sheets, soaking it completely.

"You..." I barely managed to grab my laptop before the water reached it.

"Guess you will have to find somewhere else to sleep," she hummed, tilting her head mockingly.

She is so fucking hell bent on throwing me out from my own room. Well, guess what, Mrs. Oberoi, I am staying.

God, I knew the moment I stepped inside the room, I'd have to deal with her insanity and yet this is exactly what I missed since the past few days that I'd spent ignoring her presence.

I clenched my jaw, sighing through my nose.

She gave me an innocent look. "What? You yourself said you wanted the bed."

I exhaled sharply, glaring at her before pointing at the couch. "You search yourself another place becuase I am taking the couch."

With that, I yanked off my shirt, tossing it aside as I pulled my t-shirt over my head, ignoring the way her eyes flickered for a split second before she turned away.

But before I could even pick up the pillor and my laptop, she was back. Another bucket in hand.

Splash.
