"Ashley you have to get a job." I groan, as I drag my feet next to her. She had been nagging on me for the past hour about how college was hard. Ashley was my older sister, even though she could bore me to death about how law school sucked, I still loved her. The sky was a bright luminous blue, and the clouds were white and puffy like soft cotton balls.

I was in an aqua spaghetti strap, floral dress today. Something You would never see me in, unless it was today. Today my grandparents were coming to visit for the weekend, and it was a big deal especially since they lived in New York, and we lived in Utah. So being the great big sister she is Ashley made me wear a dress. At least I was wearing my lucky white converse. My hair was still the curly brunette mess it always was. Twirling down across my somewhat broad shoulders.

"Hello, are you even listening to me?" Ashley's asks waving her hand in front of my face.

"Watch out!" Someone screamed. And my head whipped towards the unfamiliar voice. Suddenly my eyes catch sight of a baseball flying at my face. Ashley screams and dives onto the ground. I stare in shock for a second, but then my fighting skills kick in, and my hand jerks up. Stopping the ball centimeters from breaking my nose. My eyes lock on the 5 boys standing there with jaws wide open. Finally one of them shakes it off.

"Nice, catch sweetheart, now would you, like to walk it back to me?" He asks in a little kid voice.

"Sure." I say with a smile, and tilt my head to the right. This blonde haired green eyed hotness was not going to get away with talking to me like that. I walk slowly over to the boy, allowing my eyes to fall to the ground to show, as if I am shy. I walk as close as I can get, keeping my head down.

"Awe your a cute little thing." He says, as I take one step closer to his body. He puts a hand on my cheek, to caress it. I tense, and take a deep breath. He sticks out his other hand to grab the ball, and that's when I seize the moment. My eyes lock on his filled with vexation, and he now knew he made a mistake.

"Don't ever call me sweetheart." I say through gritted teeth, making sure my voice had just the right edge. Then I shove my knee upward into his groin. He yelps in pain, and collapses to the ground cursing me under his breath.

"You, bitch!" He shouts. I sigh, then lean over him.

"Now, that's better." I say with a smirk, and walk back toward the path, as his friends stare blankly at me. Some of them laughing, as the others launched towards there moaning friend. Suddenly my eyes lock, on a beautiful brunette haired boy, with blue eyes. His gaze meets mine, and it's as if he is boring into my soul, but I don't budge. I stare back allowing myself to be swallowed by the beautiful swirls of blue in his eyes. I loose my breath, and fumble for words. I finally gather enough strength, and pull away.

"Thanks for the souvenir!" I excitedly smirk throwing the baseball in the air, then catching it when it came back down. I grab Ashley's arm and run, not looking back, at the dismantled boys. When I finally reach Ashley's car, I collapse in the passenger seat. Shutting my eyes, as if to erase what happened. If I ever see them again, I will be in some serious trouble. I grip the baseball right in my hand, and run my thumb over the stitching, and that's when I catch it. This ball, wasn't an ordinary baseball with its red stitching, and beat up bruises as to how many times the league struck it with a metal bat. The ball had a signature, a black sharpie written signature, a very familiar one to be exact.
