It happened that quickly, we went to assembly then to formbase and all of a sudden it was break!
Breaktime consisted of people continuing to nervously laugh at each other and pretend that they weren't scared and of people frantically trying to get to there next class on time; which was especially difficult considering it was the first time many had even walked about school since 'Open Day' in January, it being the end of August...
The bell rang and beamed gave me a heart attack. I didn't remember them ever being that loud in primary school?! The noise of the bell is still ringing in my ears two days later!
Everyone scurry a off to class hoping not to be late on the first day, teachers gave a bit of leeway, but it doesn't make a lasting impression.
