The aroma of the morning dew complemented with the flourishing affection in his beating heart honored Soobin in a pleasurable manner sufficient for him to awake with a smile in a Monday morning. The suspension has drawn into an end, which meant they would pass through the gates of hell for the first time in a while. Soobin stretched his arm to reach for the other, and to his dismay, his hand had only felt the white sheets beneath it. The contact stirred Soobin to prop himself up in bed as he frantically wiggled his head from all the possible directions. He shifted his feet on a pair of slippers by the carpet as he grabbed hold of his phone. Taking into account the difference of class schedules, it was atypical for Yeonjun to wake up in a time earlier than Soobin. He nibbled at his lip as he took the probability into consideration.

"Soobin!" His mother called out from downstairs as he swiped along the messages of his phone. There was a possibility that Yeonjun may have left for a sensible reason and that he wrote him a message to defend his case of sensible.

"Wait, eomma! I'm gonna shower first" The clock presented twenty minutes from the appropriate position of the lines. In a conventional day, he would already be making his way towards the kitchen with minutes to spare, but this day wasn't ordinary, especially with the occurrences of the day before.

In less than a half of an hour, Soobin had finished with his morning cleanse. He then walked down the stairway as he wore the blazer of his uniform in a rush.

"Mom, where's Yeonjun Hyung?" Soobin asked upon catching a glimpse of a woman sitting by the countertop with a newspaper at hand. He twitched his head to every corner of the kitchen as he fiddled with the strap of his bag.

The tip of her eyebrows drew into a knit as the page of the newspaper was brought below the neckline of her sweater. "What? He's not in your room?"

Soobin flickered his eyes as terror began to settle in his bones. "What?"

Subsequent to the brief conversation between both of them, hysterical rambling around the house followed along. Counting on the pile of fortune that the family had gathered over the years as a means of consoling themselves. Although improbable, they were wishing that Yeonjun had been playing hide and seek. After countless of thoughts that bundled into their anxiety, they decided to give a call to the parents of the somewhat missing person. As though that matter of difficulty was inadequate, the universe had thrown in the fact that they did not respond. And in order for the circumstances to be adorned with further complication, Yeonjun was yet to return the message that Soobin had sent at the second he obtained the fatal blow of his disappearance.

ImSoobin:
Hyung, where are you? Are you
okay? Please talk to me.

ImSoobin:

Hyung, I will go insane.

Soobin was compelled to head towards the main root of his crisis in life, which is ironically identified as a place of learning. The one thing that he had learned, and possibly the only one, was that suffering would be eternal. But fortunately, a few people were cute enough to have a desire to attend the classes with a smile. During the duration of his walk to school, numerous thoughts circled around inside his mind that he was set to bang his head on a street lamp. Was it likely that Yeonjun was repulsed to the point of departure? Had his outbursts of admiration been a trick for a fool? He gaped at the ground beneath his steps and was certain of drilling holes over them if he hadn't ceased. Had it all been a joke of the year? An April fool's Day preparation? But Yeonjun had a heart big enough to not even have such thought cross his mind, it must have not been. He could not let himself be wronged.
