I still was unaware of what happened, all that I remember is the tornado hitting the school and the Principal saying "Tak.." I questioned myself why was I in this hospital room anyway? I could see that the doctor and nurses were standing around me in shock. Maybe I was hurt and they had to do surgery I don't know but I didn't fell like much was wrong with me. My best friend Liz Ganges was walking out of the room when I called "HEY-HEY, where are you going, and why am I here?"
"It is a long story I would love to talk to you about it, but you have to get surgery done."
"But wait don't leave."
Apparently when you say to someone wait it doesn't mean anything they just go walking out the door. The hospital staff wheeled me out of the room and down the hallway to get to a surgery room I thought. I took under consideration what if this was the last time I would see my friend as I was going down the hospital hallway. The more I thought about it I knew it wouldn't happen.
The hospital roof must-of took some damage from the tornado because as the nurses and doctors took me down the hallway and I could feel cold-wet water occasionally drip on me as if I was outside and there was just a light sprinkle. When the nurses and doctors got me into the room they quickly gave me the sedating medicine. One of the doctor's said "count up to ten and when you get to ten or earlier you will be asleep. So I did "one, two, three, four, five, six......" and before I finished I fell into a deep sleep.

The feeling of my friend almost on her death bed just hours ago was still taking toll on me. The depression getting cast upon me felt like a storm coming over without a warning. Now at least I could rest without the fact of my best friend maybe falling out of me hands without me having any control.
