Okay so the best way I can explain this is that I am the single most clumsy person on the face of Earthland. I started talking to Natsu Dragneel because of this ridiculous clumsiness. How? Well.. It all started with an unwanted, accidental and single switch...

"Let's go Faries! F-A-R-I-E-S. We're the girls with the bite so come on team, Fight, Fight, Fight!"

Levy winces at the never changing score board as I groan. "We can't lose! Come on girls!" I yell at the basketball team. I attend an all girls school. The best all girls school, in fact. Fairy Tail High. We were currently losing to our rivals, SaberTooth High, an all boys school. Why do we play against an all boys school? That would be a question for our class president, Erza Scarlet. She said something a long the lines of gender should not matter in the world of sports and as a femenist myself I'd completely agree with her.. If Sabertooth was not the school we were facing. They are just as tough as we are and it was driving all of us insane. "50 to 50?!" Cana yelled as we all groaned at the unsettled tie. "We can't loose.." We were on the edge of our seats waiting for the final play. My heart pounded in chest matching the rhythm of the basketball hitting the court.

"Mighty Sabers can't knock down our Queen!" Cana cheered as she and the others headed out of the gym. Levy giggles. "Lu-chan? Are you coming?" Levy had her books in her hands and was making her way down the stairs. I grin scribbling down the score for the school newspaper. "Yea!" I ran after her only to nearly be knocked off my feet by a certain basketball player. "Oi! Watch it." He growled. I glared. "Idiot! You bumped into me not my fault you lost!" I countered reaching for my phone, the IPhone lucky hadn't been destroyed. He reached for his own mumbling to himself as he ran to catch his team bus.
Levy just shrugged as we headed to her car.

"Tired.." I mumble as soon as I finally got to my room. We had celebrated for about half an hour and I was very thankful it was a Friday. I heard my phone go off and lazily swiped it thinking it was a message from the Head of the newpaper staff, Mavis Vermillion.

I'll call the cops!!!!

I stare at the message blankly before being startled from my drowniness. I was staring at my own phone number meaning the phone in my hand wasn't mine and I was.. indirectly.. A thief.

I didn't do it on purpose!
It was a mistake! Besides wouldn't that make you a thief too?!

I wait in horror and embarassment only to have the stranger call me. I expect yelling and harassment but instead the first thing I hear is, "Eheh.. Sorry.. Guess I overreacted..". 'This guy is actually.. nice.. in a weird way..' I start laughing and sigh. "Its fine.. This is what I get for waiting to put a cover and lock code on my phone." The boy chuckles. "I hear ya on that one. I'm Natsu Dragneel." When hearing this, I nearly drop my phone. 'The enemy..' "Um.. Yo.. Girly?!" He yells into the speaker causing me to jolt back to reality. "The Natsu Dragneel? Of Sabertooth huh?" I attempt to play it cool as he says yes.  And that is how it began. We talk after I gain the courage to say my name. "Natsu, your pretty cool.. For a rival." I hear him chuckle. "Ha. You too Lugi." 

"It's Lucy, dummy!" I growl at him though he just chuckles again. "Yea, yea.. I know your name. Listen since its Friday.. No one at our schools will find out. You pick a place and we'll exchange phones. "

"Ugh! That pink-haired dummy is late." I complain standing in my favorite park waiting on him. Which I had been doing for fifteen minutes. "Yo! Blondie!" I hear him running towards me that salmon hair flying like it was on the basketball court. I frown at him and he sighs rubbing his neck. "Sorry.. My older brother needed a ride and.. I kinda forgot to charge your phone." I laugh at him and he grins.

"Nice to finally meet you properly, Heartfilia."

I raise an eyebrow and flash a smile.

"Nice to meet you too, Dragneel"

If only I knew then what that boy would give to me.

If your wondering about the phone number... 777 is the year Lucy's mother died and the year the dragons went missing, 17 is how old Lucy is in the beginning of Fairytail, 24 is about how old Lucy is suppose to be after the 7 year skip, there are 9 letters in celestial, Fairytail has 8 letters in it, there are 4 letters in love and also 4 letters in luck which we all know is how Lucy's name came to be. I wanted to make it cool and not just some random numbers so I might do it in other chapters, hope you like it!))
