"Bloody hell..." A British accent mumbled to no one in particular. "I knew I shouldn't have walked." The extremely irritated personification of England was currently walking back to the hotel from his meeting with the other countries, and being outside wasn't the best idea at the moment. It was snowing. Not to mention the meeting was in Moscow.
It was bloody cold.
It wasn't that England didn't like the snow, in fact he thought the scenery was beautiful. But today, it was already freezing and adding snow to the weather made it unfit for walking.
But that's just what the Englishman decided to do.
Why? He had no idea. All he knew was that he couldn't wait to get to the hotel room to take shower and dry off, then curl up with a book and a cup of tea. Just thinking about it made him smile. He shivered as another gust of wind blew towards him and pulled his military jack tighter around him. 'I should have at least brought a jacket for god's sake' He scolded himself. He pulled his phone out of his pocket to check the temperature. It read '1 degree Celsius' (34 degrees Fahrenheit). He shivered again and put his phone back in his pocket.
"Hey Iggy!" He heard a voice call from behind him. They said 'Iggy' so it could mean only one person...
"America?"
"That's me!" America ran up next to him with his signature stupidly adorable smile plastered on his face.
"What do you want?"
"Well..." He took a breath, and England cringed. Him taking that big of a breath normally meant he was about to go off ranting. "I saw you when I was walking behind you and you looked really cold so I thought I would give you my jacket not to mention I don't want you to die of frostbite plus no one likes walking in this cold and it is really cold out here. At first I thought it was just going to be sunny but then I got outside and I was like 'oh damn it's cold too' do you ever do that? Sometimes I think it's warm out so I leave my jacket behind and then when I get outside I realize that not only is it my signature jacket but it's actually really cold outside so I go back and get it and then the whole thing seems pointless. You do stuff like that to right? Or am I the only one? I can't be the only one can I? Oh well, anyway back to the point, I saw you and you looked cold so I was going to offer you my jacket!" He started panting. England just blinked in shock and looked at him.
"Uh...was I supposed to understand that?"
"I can repeat it if you want."
"No, I'm alright thank you." England sighed. "How about you shorten that about 95%?"
America beamed, "I saw you before and you looked really cold," He stopped and took off his jacket. "So I thought," He paused again and wrapped the jacket around England's shoulders. "I would help you!" The Brit blushed furiously, but made no effort to push him away.
"Th-thanks..."
"Anytime! I am the hero after all~" America boasted, slinging an arm around the blonde. That didn't help his blush at all.
"Geez, it really is cold out here isn't it?"
"Y-Yes it is. Are you sure you don't want your jacket? You look rather cold."
"Nah I'll be fine. You're the one who's shivering here."
"If you say so."
"The hotel is a really far walk though." America groaned. "This sucks, I should have brought an actual coat." He grinned and hugged England close to him. "At least I have you to warm me up~" He laughed, acting like nothing out of the ordinary was happening. England, on the other hand, was ready to faint, from both the closeness and the coldness. He just hoped America wouldn't notice his fiery red blush.
