The Sad & Interesting Life of Nova Castor

Very Lovely Greetings

'Oh, oh fuck no. Who the fuck does this guy think he is??' Was the main thought going through Nova's head as he was talking to a man who claimed to be Xavier.

Today he had already punched Seth, did he need to hit this guy too? He learned Seth has powers, which Nova thought was unfair. Why didn't he get fire powers or some shit? But Seth was, after all, Xavier's favorite, his dog, his bitch even.

"Mm, Nova, I love you to death. You're mine, I hope you realize that. I created you so you can never die, so you can be a part of my family." Xavier lazily told him, he seemed like he was drunk or drugged and he probably was.
"I want no part of your fucking family! I'm fine on my own!" Nova spat.
"Listen, babe, at least meet the kids. They're a delight, you'll love them unlike how you hate me. Why is that, exactly?"
"Fine! If you'll leave me the hell alone, I'll meet these people. And I hate you because you took my soul and made it so I can't fucking die. Believe me, I will never like you."

So, Nova went to meet the current "kids", they all lived in and out of one big house, courtesy of Xavier. The ones currently in the house were Casimir, Alec, Jack, Felix, and, as always, Seth. Now, Xavier may have called them his kids, but they in no way consider themselves related. Alec and Jack weren't even from the same dimension, Xavier basically adopted them. Those two definitely weren't related, the way they acted around each other.

Upon meeting them all, it went a little like this.

Seth:
"I don't wanna talk to you! I already punched you once, I'll do worse this time." Nova had been sitting in the room Xavier gave him, settling in, when Seth basically cornered him.
"No, okay, you don't get it! I had to leave, I didn't have a ch-" Seth was then promptly cut off my Nova, very forcefully, slamming him against the door he had been standing in front of.
"No, you don't get it. I lost my friend, had to deal with mental issues and my mother, then I had school. All that shit in two years. I died. I wish I could go back to that. You fucked me up. Now get the fuck out of this room before I cause you so much pain you won't be able to see straight." It was all said in a harsh tone, slightly a whisper, right in Seth's ear. Nova had simply had it with him, and it was an effective way to get him out. He knew that because the second he moved away, Seth left all too fast, but perhaps not fast enough.
Never would be warm up to Seth again. Never.

Casimir:
Nova was told very little about Casimir. He had weird sea blue hair, violet eyes, and tried to act scary but really was just anime trash. He also, according to Xavier, was a vampire and had been for centuries. But what Nova really didn't expect was for him to be so...forward.
"Ohoh! Are you Xavier's new bitch? Because I'm soo sick of Seth and his anger issues and fire powers that I kind of want." Was the first thing said when Casimir entered Nova's room, being a little too loud.
"No, I'm not Xavier's bitch, he just fucked me over. Not, like, actual fucking, but, uh, y'know.." Nova couldn't help but turn a little red, not used to people being so blunt when speaking to him. In retrospect he hadn't really spoken to many people in the past few years, but still.
"Ah, I see. Well, I'm Casimir, I'm here visiting. And if you see me out of this madhouse, I act much different. I like to be refined in front of people, mainly attractive ones."
"Oh, I thought you were one of those antisocial types who just sat inside and watched anime. Guess Xavier was wrong." After that being said Casimir muttered something about fighting Xavier along with a few profanities. Then he left.
'Well, he seemed nice enough. Christ, wonder what kind of people I'll meet next...'

Alec & Jack:
Now, meeting those two for the first time was very weird. Probably the weirdest first encounter Nova will have. It was short, very few words, and left Nova slightly concerned.

He had just been trying to navigate his way around the house, when he came across a closed door. He figured he peak his head in and see if he could ask anyone for directions. He was honestly very sick of being lost, so he did, sadly, forget to knock. When he walked in, Alec had Jack pinned against the wall, muttering something like, "If you mention that war again I will make you go through twice the hell I went through." And then Jack's reply being something, seemingly sarcastic, that sounded like, "Mmhm, yeah, I love it when you're rough." With a smirk and a wink.

Nova, at quite a loss for words, found himself not being able to move, and also blushing madly. That was when Jack noticed he was there, nudged Alec, and said his hello.
"Ahah! Hey, kid, I'm Jack, this is Alec. It's a pleasure, hope you enjoyed the show." That came with, again, a smirk and a wink. Then Alec, obviously annoyed, slapped him and apologized. At that point Nova took it upon himself to turn around and never look back.

He had so many questions, such as:
War??? Were those two in a relationship??? What the fuuuck was going on in this house????

Felix:
"If you wanna meet Felix you've gotta go to their room." Is what Xavier had said. The only other thing he said was, "They have high anxiety, and use they pronouns. Felix is also very sensitive about gender. And does magic. Yeah, you're set. Their room number is A18."
And with that Nova was off.

What he didn't expect was to open the door and find basically a child. They had pastel pink hair, wide and dark eyes, fear highly visible. When they noticed Nova, they barely got a hello.
"Hey, I'm Nova Castor. You're Felix, right? Don't talk much?"
"Uh, I do, I do. Strangers just kinda freak me out, I guess. But Xavier always talks so nice of you, so you're okay. Yeah, I'm Felix. Sorry you have to see me like this, heh, I'm visiting for awhile. My friend, Cronan, well, I can't see him anymore. I'm sad because of it, but it's for the best. He kinda scared me." They said in such a small voice.
"Oh, why's that?" Nova smiled the best he could at this seemingly young child.
"He went on a murder spree again, his magic is getting out control. I just don't know that I should be around him..you know?" Oh, that wasn't really what Nova expected. Though, considering where he was, he wasn't all that surprised.
"Sure, I got ya."
After that the two did continue to talk about small things, Nova soon learning a little bit. Felix wasn't really a child, but fifteen, and magic was also really cool. Apparently it would take Nova centuries to master it, his ability was just plain immortality. Damn. Nevertheless, he had fun talking to Felix more so than anyone else.

I would write more, but this is 1.2k+ words so nah. Next chapter miiiight have to wait because I do have another thing I'm workin' on. But next time is gonna be so great, Xavier and all his over possessiveness. Fantastic.
