Alright, hey, author here. Really quick note before I write this. I know this part oh-so well because I know Nova oh-so well and I honestly dislike talking about it. This is going to have a very vague mention of suicide, it will be sad and possibly triggering as in mentions of wanting to have stayed dead and possible vivid helplessness and other things. If you are sensitive, please skip this and if you would honestly like a very very vague description of what happened, message me. Okay, on with the story.

Nova Castor's mental health had become the worst it could be over the past two years. He was now fourteen, dealing with his mental illness, his mother, painful memories, and school was a lot. It was too much. He was depressed, his mother was mean, he wanted Seth back, and school was fucking difficult. He was only fourteen, he couldn't possibly deal with all this.

So that's why, on April seventh, he jumped off a building. He died, as well. His mother was heartbroken, devastated, hardly being able to deal with the unbearable pain. She didn't want her son dead, and she soon found he didn't have to be dead.

While drinking her sorrows in a bar a few nights later, she met a man. He was tall and toned, his black hair pulled into a small pony tail. He was quite the handsome one, and well aware of it too. A tight black tee shirt, black skinny jeans to match along with combat boots and spiked bracelets. He looked like something straight from hell mixed with a punk. But he was all too intriguing for her to not be interested.

"Oh, you look sad." He said, very simply put with fake pity and fake sincerity. But that was all it took for her to spill her details. After doing so she said, "I just wish I could bring him back."

Little did she know, that was exactly what the man had in mind. This mans name was Xavier Devi and he was indeed something straight from hell. He had taken in Seth, and many others, now he planned to take in Nova. He knew exactly how it would go thanks to a psychic up in Canada, and he was very excited. Nova was just too cute to not be his. Quickly convincing the woman that her son could come back with ease, all she had to do was say the word. What he didn't say is what the consequences would be.

So, Nova was brought back, very unhappily at that. But when his mother saw what Xavier had done to her child, well she wasn't happy either. Nova could see just fine, which was what made it all the more off-putting. He no longer had eyes, nor did he have a soul. She then disowned him, she brought back a child who wanted to stay dead, only to disown him. What an amazing mother she was.

Nova didn't know where to go, but he eventually decided on a place. The streets of New York City. It wasn't an adequate place for a fourteen year old, but what choice did he have? He made money doing jobs at fast food places, bookstores, and occasionally unsettling places. The unsettling places consisted of running errands for drug dealers, prostitutes, and many more. But all of that eventually gave him enough money to get an apartment and a decent food supply.

But he still wasn't okay mentally. And he soon learned something, he couldn't die. Though, that didn't stop him from trying over and over again. He was a worthless freak in his opinion. He should've stayed dead. Even now at the age of nineteen, he still tries, but it never, nor will it ever, work.

Please, if you or someone you know is struggling with suicide or depression, get help. I can supply many helplines if needed. If anyone needs to talk, I am as well always open. I wrote Nova's character when I was in quite a bad place, hence his sad life. Though I still love him to death, I just put him through things.

Two updates in one day is pretty nice, even though they're both pretty short which is kinda sucky. Bye!
