Rayon POV

After the movie ended me and Ej got up from our seats. I looked around for Jake as I was heading towards the aisle. When I finally spotted him ,he was walking with Chresanto to the hallway that gives you a path to the door. "Nice to see they finally made up ,huh ?" Ej said opening the theater door for me "Thanks and yes finally." I told him. Ej just chuckled a little bit. When we finally made it outside we saw Jacob and Chres sitting on a bench in front on the movie theater talking about the party. "Oh shit I totally forgot about that party." I said "Who is throwing it ?" I questioned "My friend Joliet you know I was once her Romeo." Ej said as he smirked "That's awesome Romeo." I told Elijah as Jacob and Chresanto in the background saying "you finna get it ,you dumb bro ,that's why yo ass been single for so long and shaking my head Ej" I was trying to keep a straight face and not laugh at the two idiots. "Shut up you two ,it was 3 years ago we just good friends now babe. " Elijah said trying to wrap his arms around my waist. "Yeah whatever Romeo." I moved away from him and walked to Chres car.

Come to find out Jake and Chresanto was already at the car Chres rolled down his windows and said "Sit y'all asses in the back" I rolled my eyes ,opened the car door and got in the back. Soon Ej got the same message and got in the back with me. I put my head on his shoulder at first he tensed up then soon relaxed. I guess he thought I was mad at him but I wasn't , I just like messing with him. I smiled and closed my eyes.
Jacob POV
I'm so glad that Chres forgave me ! I can't stop smiling ,I probably look like a total doofus. Who uses that word anymore ?! "What are you thinking about over there ?" Chres asked still focusing on the road we have 7 hours till 9pm that's when the party start. "Nothing just lowkey happy we made up." I said looking down blushing so he wouldn't see but I felt a finger lifted my head I looked to my left and it was Chres . "Me too Jakey". I almost melted we he called me my childhood nickname.

After that moment ended I felt a pair of eyes burning a hole in the back of my head. I looked back it was Ej smiling at me and Chresanto. I just turned back around when I did that car came to a stop. We was in front of Ej house "Fam you pick up Ray and I pick up Jake." Chres told Ej. "Alright" Ej responded he woke Ray up "RayBae you wanna chill with me then I take you home ,wait for you to get dress and take you to the party ?" He asked "Sure doesn't matter" Rayon answered in a sleepy tone. They both got out and went into the house. "Now that we lost them what you wanna do ?" Chres asked in excitement. I laughed and asked "Why did you wanna lose them ?" he looked at me then back to the road "Because they are annoying ,all kissy touchy " he told "Sounds like somebody jealous of there relationship." I spoke "Naah never that Perez. You wanna just chill at my house and I'll just swing by your house so you can just get your clothes for the party then go straight to my house and we chill until it's time to get dress." Chres told me the descent plan I said sure. "Same place ?" He asked "Yes sir" I answered. "Good cause I found a short cut to it like a week ago".He told me "Where's your AUX cord ?" I asked him. He took his right hand off the wheel and passed me the cord. I plugged it up to my phone and played Play No Games by Big Sean ft Chris Brown.
"Ok I won't deny it half the time you send a text ,You know I'm not replying
Just to let you know I'm not one of them niggas you be dodging ,I'm the one that you dodge with

Baaabby ! I want you to take me serious" I sung back. By the time the song ended we was at my house "Have you seen the video for this song ?" I asked smiling "Naah" Chres replied "Shaking my head you going to when we get to your house" I told him as I got out his car and jogged to my house and attempted opened the door but it was lock so I bent down ,got the key from behind the bush then got back up and opened the door. I jogged up the stairs then straight to my room. I went to my closet and pulled out a little duffle bag. What to wear ? What to wear ? I thought to myself. I need to hurry ,I don't want to keep him waiting long. So I just pulled out my 'black joggers that has a thick white lining above the back pockets' from the bottom part of my dresser. I folded them up and placed it in the bag.
Chressy💚☺️:dude your taking to long .. did you die in there ? welp i already went by my house and got my clothes and shit so we will just chill at your house ok ? ok. I'm on my way back
I guess that's better because I don't do good when I'm rushed or somebody waiting for me. Did I really take that long ? Naah I don't think so he probably got impatient soon as I walked in the house. I heard a knock from downstairs on the front door. I ran downstairs and opened the door it's was Chres with a book bag hanging off his shoulder. "Now that you really think about it we should have did this instead of that other plan ... Less driving".He spoke as he walked inside I nodded my head in agreement."Let's just go upstairs" I said walking upstairs with him on my tail. "You have Netflix right ?" He asking dumb questions "Of course who doesn't ? ... It's a rhetorical question" I stopped the smart ass before he said something.He flopped on my bed as I turned on my tv and put the screen on Netflix with a click of a button. "I need one of these" Chres said "Yeah ok. Umm I'm going to go get the snacks from downstairs ,what do you want we got everything. " I asked over exaggerating he shouldn't think I'm serious. "Uhhh l just some trail mix please." He said with a wide smile "And I hope your ok with a scary movie." He added while turning his head back to the tv going through the horror and suspense section. I gulped down on the lump in my throat ,I am terrified of horror movies. I laughed nervously "Who do you think I am ? A 5 year old little boy ? Of course I'm ok with it. " I told him acting courageous but inside scared. I don't know why I'm so scared of them. Their just movies "That's what I'm talking about Perez " I said with smile. Jeez that smile "The only reason I asked is because I remember your terrified of them but I guess that went away." Chres spoke still going through the movies. I just continued to the kitchen and got the bag of trail mix out the pantry and washed off some dark cherries ,put them in a bowl for myself. "Ughh this is going to be a long movie." I whispered to myself as I went upstairs.

Hi guyss & girlsss ! I actually really enjoyed writing this chapter for some reason. Lol but I was starting to get bored of this book and I was going to delete it. But I'm back on track so this book is staying 😊❤️.
