Dani's POV

Today is my first year of college. I really can't wait, I'm hoping to be a director and do something with my life. I walked up the stairs to my dorm floor and looked for my door.

"124C, 125C, 126C, um there 127C!" I mumbled to myself. I swiped my key card into the door and walked in. The room was big. There was a little corridor that led to the kitchen and four doors. I walked in and walked into the kitchen. Then I saw another door which was a closet. I walked to the four doors and opened one to see a bed against the wall. I opened the other to see the same thing and the others. But one didn't have any bags in it. I'm guessing it's mine. I closed that door and walked back into the other and put my bags down.

I sat down on the bed and looked around. I'm finally got out of the foster house. I started unpacking and set up my mirror up instead of where the picture was. I put the picture in the drawer.

Then I took out my perfumes and lotions and put them on the top shelf on top of my bed. In the second shelf I put my FujiFilm camera in the second shelf with my key card, and some old pictures I had from the camera. I just never knew where these are or who are the people in them. I have four pictures. One has me and 2 other girls laughing and hugging, another has me and a little girl with brown hair making weird faces, one is a room which I believe is my foster home, and the last one is of me in a pool with the little girl again. I think these pictures are from my foster home but I'm not sure. For the third shelf, I had an outlet. I put in my iPhone charger and my laptop charger.

I don't get a lot of money but during the summer I worked as the assistant of a lawyer. I got paid a lot which helped me save up for the things I wanted. Yet still no car. I quit my job, though, so I could focus on my studies, I do have a lot saved up and with my scholarship I'm going to be doing pretty good for a while hopefully.

I put my bag against the wall and started hanging most of my clothes in the closet then putting my shoes at the bottom of the closet. I don't have many shoes, though, I use most of my money on makeup. I set up my toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, blow dryer, hair curler, straightener, and some other hygiene stuff like deodorant in the bathroom. I finally finished. I changed into black leggings and a hoodie then tied my hair up in a ponytail. I sat down with my phone and just scrolled through Twitter.

After awhile I heard the front dorm door unlock. Must be the new roommates. I felt goosebumps all over my body, nervous to meet my roommates yet excited. I heard a knock on my door. I went to open my door and once I did, I saw a boy.

"Oh hey! I'm Shawn and this is Lisa and that's Cameron" that's when he moved and I saw the others.

"I'm Dani, nice to meet you guys"

"You too, well I'm going to go unpack", he said smiling then going into his room. I heard the others agree and go away. Cameron I think? was awfully quiet that he even looked annoyed or shocked by my presence. I closed my door, but then I opened it again realizing I'm hungry. I doubt there's any food in the fridge so I grabbed my black busted up vans and slipped them on. I got up and dusted my self off and took my phone, wallet and keycard. Maybe it's rude to get food for myself and not them.

I found Shane's I think no Shawn's... door open and said: I'm going around to get food, do you want me to get you anything?"

He looked back at me and said "no it's fine, there's also a folder with directions in the kitchen if you need help by the way"

"Um.. Lisa? Do you want anything from the store?"

"COOKIES!" She yelled from her room. I chuckled and knocked on Cameron's door.

"Want anything?"

"No? Bye," he said sharply. I just gave him a weird look and went to the kitchen and grabbed the folder and looked through it. Tacobell? Chipotle? Starbucks? I had no idea what these places were. I think I've gone to Starbucks before but I'm not sure.

I'll just go to the near by supermarket. I walked out of the dorm and down the stairs. Once I got out I felt the cold breeze. I walked until i got to the market and went around the isles.

I ended up getting a big bottle of lemonade, a pack of water bottles, a pack of bagels, and more. I payed for my stuff and ate along the way to the dorm.

"I'm back and I got food," I said as I entered my dorm.

"Food?!?" Shawn and Lisa said coming out. Cam just quietly followed

"Yeah.. Like cookies, bagels, drinks, chips Yeah" I said setting the back down on the table.

"You are amazing," shawn said.

I laughed and grabbed a bag of chips and a bottle from the bags.

"Can you pack this in the fridge? I'm too lazy right now." I said taking off my shoes. They just nodded. I walked into my room and changed into pajama shorts and a pajama tank top. I turned off the lights after saying Goodnight, then I basically jumped into bed. I closed my eyes trying to fall asleep..

So this is only the first of the short chapters since it's just the begging. The next is also but that's all.
I pre wrote this whole fanfic so if I change something I'll have to change everything.
